Filosa for Nursing & Rehabilitation is a privately owned and operated skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in the heart of Danbury, Connecticut. Since 1947 our facilities have been continuously managed on site by our original owners who for three generations have remained dedicated to providing a uniquely caring and supportive environment for our patients and their families.

A Heartwarming Visit at Havencare at Filosa 🎄

Today we were lucky to host the students from the AIS Magnet School in Danbury. They came dressed in full Christmas spirit and filled our building with music and warmth. Watching our residents light up as the kids sang was truly special — you could feel the joy in the room.

It’s moments like these that remind us how meaningful simple connections can be. We’re grateful to the AIS students and staff for taking the time to bring holiday cheer to our home. It was a beautiful way to start the season.

This past weekend, Danbury Hospital hosted its annual Mission Health Day, a wonderful event dedicated to supporting families in need through free health education, screenings, and resources.

Havencare was proud to participate by donating beanies and tote bags to help spread warmth and care to our neighbors. ❤️
