Apex Community Care The mission of Apex Community Care is to provide high quality services to individuals living with HIV, substance use and mental health disorders. Thank you.

To advocate for and provide services to people living with HIV/AIDS, mental health and substance use disorders, their families, loved ones, and to actively promote education and prevention in the community. Apex seeks to create communities free from stigma so that people with nowhere to turn can get the help they need. We envision a world free of stigma and shame, where all people are treated with dignity and respect and their value as an individual is recognized and celebrated. We will work relentlessly and passionately to help all individuals in our community who are disenfranchised and have nowhere to turn. NOTICE TO PATIENTS:

Yesterday, Apex was honored to be a part of CCAR's Community Engagement Day, and getting to witness Robert Marrero and a certificate for the work he and CCAR do in and around Connecticut. We are so proud to be one of 's community partners and especially proud of Robert and CCAR for earning this certificate! No one deserves it more for the hard work you and your organization do. So thank you for helping our community, and helping us help others!

Don't forget that you'll be able to find us this year at Hartford Healthcare's Medical Mission 2025 in Torrington! Save the date: Saturday, November 8th from 9am to 2pm! Apex, along with other community partners of Hartford Healthcare and Charlotte Hungerford Hospital will be offering free medical services for adults and children. All are welcome, and no insurance is needed, so make sure to come get the care you need.

¡No olviden que este año nos encontrarán en la Misión Médica 2025 de Hartford Healthcare en Torrington! ¡Anoten la fecha: sábado 8 de noviembre de 9:00 a 14:00! With our coat drive going on, we've been getting quite the influx of warm weather wear! But we don't want to stop you there, so James and Shanice spent some time reorganizing our Transforming Clothing Closet to make room for even more donations! Huge shout-out to the power team that is James and Shanice for all your hard work!

Busy weekend part 3: The Final Installment aka Jasper and Suhail at Out Of The Darkness in Litchfield! This event was truly an honor to be a part of, and so moving to be there for it. If you haven't heard of Out Of The Darkness, it is a walk for su***de awareness and prevention. This is a cause near and dear to many of our hearts, so we are so glad that we got to be there to express our solidarity and offer our services to those who need it the most.

Tercera parte de un fin de semana ajetreado: ¡La entrega final! Jasper y Suhail en Out Of The Darkness en Litchfield. Fue un verdadero honor formar parte de este evento y nos emocionó mucho estar allí. Si no conocen Out Of The Darkness, es una caminata para la concientización y prevención del suicidio. Esta es una causa muy importante para muchos de nosotros, así que nos alegra mucho haber podido estar allí para expresar nuestra solidaridad y ofrecer nuestros servicios a quienes más lo necesitan.

It was quite the busy weekend for Apex! We want to start by highlighting James and Nancy, who really knocked it out of the park with our table at Mission Health Day at WVSU on Saturday! Thank you, WCSU for hosting this event and for lettings us join; we had a blast and really enjoyed getting to talk to everyone and get our information out there to help save lives!

Queremos empezar destacando a James y Nancy, ¡quienes hicieron un trabajo espectacular con nuestra mesa informativa en el Día de la Salud de la Misión en WVSU el sábado!
