Stokes County Sewer and Water Authority continues to be experiencing difficulties with completing water systems repairs this evening.

Facilities between and including the Arts Block in Danbury and the Main Goverment Center campus will operate on a TWO hour delay tomorrow for non-essential personnel.

Offices will OPEN at 10:30am on Wednesday.

On April 20th from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at Piney Grove Middle School is a FREE wellness event for all ages.

Available to attendees will be: health and safety tips, online safety tips, wellness strategies and financial tips as well as as FAFSA help for students applying to college.

There are giveaways/door prizes, food truck and Kona Ice available as well. Additionally, parents may sign up for free sports physicals for their student.

Through collaboration with Piney Grove MS, Stokes County Schools, Stokes County Health Dept, Stokes County Opioid Prevention Effort-SCOPE Program, Vaya Health, WellCare, United Health Care and Food Lion, we are excited to be a part of this FREE community event supporting families, parents, guardians and caregivers of youth.
