Welcome to our 4-H Club! Our meetings are held at the Dane Fire Station on the first Sunday evening of each month. Meetings start at 6:00 pm.

We’ve been busy the past few months! We made cards for the residents at Dove Healthcare that we delivered when we joined them for Bingo on Valentines Day. Members recently planted an assortment of seeds they could take home to be ready for their gardens this spring.

🍀Happy New Year from the Dane Dandy Doers 4-H Club!🍀 We hadn't met since last year and hosted our monthly club meeting tonight! 😆 Our members did a "beach in a jar" craft activity with sand, shells, seaglass and stones. 🐚🌴🌊 Looking forward to next month's community activity: Valentine's Day Bingo at Dove Nursing Home on 2/14! 🕊❤️🍀

We’d like to extend a huge thank you to the Dane community for your incredible generosity and support of our annual food drive! Thanks to your donations, our 4-H members were out this morning collecting items that will be delivered to Reach Out Lodi to support local families in need. A special thank you to all of our members who helped with the drop off and pick up of the bags, and to Lynn Deans for continuing to coordinate this event each year!

At our last meeting we got into the Halloween spirit by painting pumpkins!! Our members each got their own pumpkin and got to let their creative minds run and paint whatever they wanted on them.

At our last meeting we tasted and ranked different types of apples. The members each had a plate with different apples and had a sheet where they ranked the different apples and were able to observe the differences in there taste/texture

Yesterday we participated in the annual Dane Fest parade. Decorated the truck to show what 4H is all about and how it’s more than just animals. We also handed out cheese and milk as a little treat. Huge thank you to everyone who came and helped us!!

At our meeting this past Sunday we worked on making our posters for the Dane parade coming up in a couple of weeks on June 29th. We incorporated all parts of what our club is involved in and things that are related to agriculture. Including animals, our community service work, and of course we had to include foods. Come see us at the parade! We’ll be handing out cheese sticks and milk!

We hope everyone had a lovely Easter! This past Saturday we hosted our annual Easter egg hunt. We had an amazing turnout and want to thank everyone that showed up, and hope that everyone had a wonderful time. Not only did we have an Easter egg hunt, but we also had an Easter bunny, and our own little petting zoo set up for the kids to enjoy!

On Saturday, some of our members took part in our annual highway cleanup. We do this once yearly in the spring as one way of giving back to our community!
