breathing together, moving together, regulating together – this practice is a tool to move from the busy-ness of the mind and the world into a state of awareness, connection, and love.

it reminds us that we are not meant to do this alone. that presence is something we can share, that steadiness is contagious, and that even in uncertainty, there is something reliable in coming back to the body, to the breath, to one another.

community is what will lift us up when the world feels dark and heavy. when systems feel broken and the noise is constant, choosing to stay present, to care for our nervous systems, and to show up for one another is a quiet, radical form of resistance.

we may not be able to fix everything, but we can soften what is within reach. we can listen more closely, move with intention, offer steadiness instead of urgency, and let our actions be guided by care rather than fear.

so grateful to be surrounded by like-minded, tender and hopeful hearts. 🌀🕉️💗🕉️🌀

in the stillness of winter, aum becomes a return. to the body. to the collective pulse. to that quiet place beneath thought where something ancient remembers itself.

this is bhakti, the yoga of devotion. offering our voices, our attention, our hearts to something greater than the individual self. not striving, but surrender. not performance, but presence.

this is yoga as ritual. as listening. as community gathered around a single vibration. the journey continues inward, together. 🌈🌀

Each session will begin with a seasonally inspired prompt and creative exercise, followed by spacious time for journaling and creating. You’re welcome to work quietly, share conversation, or simply let the process unfold in whatever way feels right for you.

Matcha from is included.

Nature, intentional breath and movement, community…..

When the world feels uncertain, unsteady, or loud, the body often knows before the mind does.

Pausing to connect with your breath and body isn’t just symbolic; it’s physiological. Slow, intentional breathing activates the parasympathetic nervous system, signaling safety, lowering cortisol, and helping the brain move out of survival mode. When we soften the body, the mind follows.

And when we do this together, something even deeper happens. Co-regulation, being in calm, supportive community, helps our nervous systems sync and settle. Our bodies literally borrow steadiness from one another. Psychologically, this reminds us that we’re not alone; that connection is a powerful antidote to fear and overwhelm.

Time spent breathing, moving, and grounding in community builds resilience, restores trust in ourselves, and creates space to feel what’s real without becoming numb. In moments like these, regulation isn’t avoidance 🌀 it’s a radical act of care.

This is why we gather. This is why we pause. 💗

🌀A message from Living Kula🌀

At Living Kula, we believe deeply in the power of community. We believe in lifting one another up through kindness, presence, and care, and in the quiet ripple effect that love can have. At the same time, we also recognize that community asks us to stand up for what is right.

In full transparency, we are heartbroken by recent events. From the kidnapping and manipulation unfolding in Venezuela and the threat of war, to the murder of an innocent woman in Minneapolis, these are heavy realities. And they are not normal. They should not be treated as such.

It can be easy to move through a world that encourages distraction and numbness, where we are taught to look away or keep going as if these things are not happening. To keep scrolling…..

But we believe it matters to pause.
To feel.
To stay present with the discomfort rather than turning away.

We stand for the protection of all human beings, no matter their origin or identity. We hold space for grief, for anger, and for care. And we remain committed to cultivating community rooted in compassion, awareness, and humanity.

With love,
Living Kula

There’s an art to community. 🌀🕸️

To the way paths cross, conversations unfold, and connections quietly deepen.

Old friends, new friends, once-strangers, now woven into something shared.

What’s being created here matters, and we feel so grateful to be part of it. 🌈
