I wish to take this chance on such a blessed day to thank all who continue to support CHUM’s activities in all ways!!
Our Rise Up for Spring; CHUMs Night Out Dinner Event was our best yet, thanks to our generous sponsors, donors, volunteers, and all who came and enjoyed that amazing evening!! Thank you and may God bless you all!
Our Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Horseback was also our biggest yet I think! In the first 2 hours of our 4 hour event we had 50 kids ride their way to the eggs and the golden egg with a prize at the end!! I think we finished with about 70 kids riding and all the families who came along!! If you have pics from the event and would share them here please do!! Thank you all the volunteers, donors of candy and other items….and weren’t those cool toys,fidgets, and Easter bunny’s etc fun that Mr Jeff made !!

A few important notes 🙂…

First, this week we see a very special young lady move into her new life outside of CHUM! Help us send Emily off on her new adventure with prayers and ‘good luck’ wishes! We will miss her terribly but know she will be a great success! We love you Emily!!

Second, we are looking for new individuals who wish to be a part of something bigger, to make a difference in not just one life but many! If you are interested please text Bonnie at 517-204-0974, if she’s teaching she won’t answer so please text.

Third!! We are just two weeks from our Easter Egg Hunt on Horseback April 4! Our chance to give back to our communities! Stop by between 11-3 on April 4 for a ‘ride through the egg hunt’! Collect your eggs for goodies and more! VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for this event, donations of both candy and non candy can be dropped off by March 29 please so we can get things ready for everyone!

I am humbled by all the people who care so much about CHUM! We were moving slowly towards our big dinner event a week from this Sat, March 7, and in Gods amazing grace, sponsors for the event are contacting us! Less than two weeks!!! That’s how much time before the Spring Dinner Event March 7 at the fairgrounds hall, 700 E Ash St Mason, from 6pm to 10. All you can eat buffet, live music from Top Hat, Live auction from Mel White Auctioneer, silent auction, games and prizes. SO MUCH FUN!! 4 hours of truly great food by Chef Geoff and great prizes for just $40 per person!!

Tickets are being reserved, sponsors are reaching out to us, donations of auction items and groceries are being dropped off! This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and an amazing opportunity to get together with our communities to have a ‘CHUMs Night Out!’
