As we prepare for the storm that will bring frigid temperatures and a foot or two of snow (light, fluffy snow but lots of it), here are the non-emergency numbers for local police and fire. Power outage info will be available on the MEMA website. The 2-1-1 number is for shelter locations and disaster assistance. Stay safe.

We’re excited to invite you to the 2026 YMCA State Advocacy Day, taking place on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at the Massachusetts State House. This year is especially meaningful as YMCAs across the country celebrate a historic milestone. In honor of this moment, the theme of this year’s Advocacy Day is “175 Years of Serving the Commonwealth.”

We’re introducing a new registration platform to make the process easier and more streamlined. Please visit the registration website, https://maymca.quorum.us/, sign up to be an advocate, and then click on the 2026 State Advocacy Day tab to complete the registration form. On the same site, you’ll also find helpful resources to prepare you for your legislative meetings. Please note that you will need to sign up (the green button) before completing the registration form.
