Sometimes the nervous system doesn’t want slow inhales and long exhales.

Sometimes it wants release.

A contained scream (in your car, into a pillow, out on a hike) can help discharge stuck activation, frustration, grief, or rage that breath alone can’t move.

This isn’t about losing control.

It’s about letting the body finish what it started.

Breathwork regulates.
Screaming releases.
Both have a place in healing.

Listen to your body.
It usually knows what it needs.

You stir. You press. You wait.
Nothing can be rushed.

The paper forms when you do less, not more.

Just like your nervous system.

DITCH THE PLAN 🌟

I just to be the one who went to the gym with a plan.. 6 weeks 3 months... weight lift gain.... Tone. Tone. Tone. Lose. Lose. Lose. All the friggin pressure!

Welp! My body needed different and silly me for not noticing until my body made me. Funny how that works.

In my endometriosis journey I have learned the hard way to listen. To slow down and actually listen. I can still enjoy the weight training BUT without the plan. Without the heavy lifting EVERYDAY! I can still lift the way I like to BUT in moderation. Cross training is best. And asking my body "what do you want to do today?". Working through the ego of the mind.

I like to train functionally now. Move for my Lymphatic System. Regulate between sets for my Nervous System. Breath & form my main focus. When my body allows and is supported then I can lift heavier.

Trauma isn’t just something that happened to you—it’s something your body remembers.

It lives in your nervous system, your muscles, your breath. It shows up as chronic tension, fatigue, anxiety, digestive issues, or that sense of being constantly “on edge.” You may not always have words for it—but your body knows.

Pain isn’t just emotional. It’s cellular. It’s muscular. It’s neurological.

That’s why healing has to go beyond talk.

It has to be felt.

Healing happens when we create safety in the body.
