🧠 There is hope beyond medication alone.

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is a non-invasive treatment option for individuals living with depression who haven’t found relief with traditional therapies.

In this video, Karen from Beverly, MA shares her experience with TMS and how it helped her take an important step forward in her mental health journey.

At MFM Health, our Behavioral Health Department is proud to offer TMS as part of a comprehensive, patient-centered approach to mental health care — delivered close to home, with compassion and expertise.

❤️ Wearing Red for American Heart Month ❤️

Today, several of our MFM Health team members wore red in support of American Heart Month — a reminder that heart health matters not just in February, but all year long.

Your heart works hard for you every single day. The best way to protect it? Stay proactive.

✔️ Keep up with preventive visits
✔️ Know your numbers — blood pressure, cholesterol & blood sugar
✔️ Focus on small, sustainable habits that support long-term cardiovascular health

Even small steps add up over time.

If you haven’t checked in on your heart health recently, now is the perfect time. Schedule a preventive visit or talk with your care team about recommended screenings, labs, and lifestyle steps that can help reduce your risk.

Your heart deserves it. ❤️

❄️ Winter is the perfect time for a skin check

With less sun exposure, it’s easier to spot changes in moles or skin lesions — and many dermatology treatments heal more comfortably when skin isn’t exposed to heat or strong sunlight. Scheduling a skin exam now helps catch concerns early and sets you up for healthier skin all year long.

Our Dermatology team at MFM Health provides comprehensive skin care you can trust, right here in the community — from routine skin checks to ongoing dermatologic care.

🦷 February is Children’s Dental Health Month! 🦷

Did you know tooth decay is the most common chronic childhood disease? Nearly 1 in 5 children ages 5–11 has at least one untreated cavity — but the good news is, healthy habits can make a big difference!

✨ Helpful tips to keep little smiles healthy:
• Brush twice daily with fluoride toothpaste (a pea-sized amount)
• Floss once a day — even baby teeth matter!
• Limit sugary drinks and snacks, especially between meals
• Encourage water between meals to help rinse teeth
• Schedule regular dental checkups starting at age 1

At MFM Health, our care teams are always happy to talk with families about oral health, nutrition, and habits that support your child’s overall wellness. Small steps now can help protect those smiles for years to come! 💙

✨ Small Step for Better Health: This week, try swapping sugary drinks for water, seltzer, or herbal tea. Reducing added sugar supports stable energy, improved focus, better hydration, and long-term metabolic health.

🥤 Even one small swap per day can make a meaningful difference. If managing sugar intake or weight is a priority for you, our MFM Health Nutrition and Primary Care teams can offer guidance and support.

Book online to set up an appointment — we’d love to help you make sustainable changes all year long.

Everyone’s health needs are different. If you’re planning changes to your diet, exercise, or treatment, talk with your healthcare provider to make sure it’s a good fit for you.
