It has been a year since my husband transitioned and he somehow still finds ways to bring flowers to me. He would remember all the particulars, even when it was something I said in passing. He understood that plants and flowers speak when they're given [with] love.

Statistics suggest that approximately 1 in 5 adults in the United States suffer from chronic pain, which can severely impact one’s quality of life. Chronic pain has been associated with various health issues, including depression, anxiety, and other ailments. With its guided energy flow throughout the body, reiki promotes self-healing and helps reduce stress.

 Reiki can be highly beneficial as a complementary therapy to modern medicine’s pain management approaches. It is widely recognized that a patient’s state of mind plays a significant role in the healing process, making the effectiveness of reiki dependent on the individual receiving it.

It is important to note that reiki should be regarded as a supplement to Western or modern medicine rather than a substitute for it.

Reiki works with the body’s chakras, which are energy centers, to align the mind and body through relaxation and stress reduction. Each chakra is associated with different physical, mental, and spiritual well-being aspects. As emotional, physical, and energetic blockages are cleared, our chakras become balanced and open, which enables a stronger connection to higher consciousness, allowing us to tap into spiritual insights and have a deeper connection with the universe. This process promotes a sense of calm and peace, helping the recipient to feel relaxed.

The practitioner acts as a conduit by channeling reiki, facilitating healing and balance. Reiki originates from a divine source, sometimes called “Source” or “Infinite Wisdom.” In this way, reiki connects our energy with the broader spiritual realm.

As the mind becomes clearer and more relaxed during reiki sessions, the practitioner and the recipient often experience heightened intuition, spiritual insights, or expanded awareness. The reiki energy guides the practitioner, while the recipient may experience inner peace, unity, or connection to the divine.

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is an energy healing practice that promotes balance of the mind, body, and spirit by channeling universal life force energy. In Japanese, Rei is “spiritual/divine wisdom” and Ki is “life force energy.” 

It is a safe and noninvasive complementary therapy for physical healing and a practice that encourages spiritual development. Reiki balances the energetic flow within the body and opens us to greater awareness and a sense of oneness with all things. This can help us connect with our inner selves, higher purpose, and the cosmic consciousness that unites all beings, fostering a feeling of interconnectedness.

I'm finally feeling more confident about formal Bazi training!!

The hardest prerequisite for this intense course is to learn how to read and write 22 Chinese characters - 10 Heavenly Stems and 12 Earthly Branches. My kids very much enjoyed giving me this spelling test 😂 Apologies to all my Chinese friends for the horrible penmanship 😅

Bazi is an ancient Chinese science that can give us deep insights and understanding of life. It translates to "eight characters" and is also known as the Four Pillars of Destiny. Fun fact: Bazi uses the Solar calendar, not Lunar 🌞🌞

What a fun reiki share!! This month, we made bracelets and infused them with playful healing energy. For a couple of hours, there were no other responsibilities aside from picking our beads and stringing them into bracelets 💫✨️

Oh, and the whimsy tattoos. Kim .space.healing and I have decided to always have the Tattoo Bar at these events 😁
