This morning, Associates at each of Ephraim McDowell Health’s three hospitals participated in a special Veterans Day flag-folding ceremony in recognition of the men and women who have served our nation. This meaningful tradition allows us to pause and reflect on the sacrifices made by our veterans and to extend our deepest appreciation for their service and dedication to protecting our freedoms.

Following the ceremony, the folded American flags will be respectfully displayed in a glass case at each hospital until next year’s observance — serving as a lasting reminder of the courage, commitment, and selfless service of our nation’s veterans.

We are honored to work alongside veterans within our organization and to care for those who have served within our communities. Their example continues to inspire us.
