March may be coming to a close, but the impact of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month doesn’t stop here.

All month long, we’ve celebrated ability, independence, and the unique contributions of the people we serve. We’ve shared stories of growth, meaningful employment, creativity, and community and we’ve been reminded that inclusion isn’t a moment, it’s a mindset.

At Sycamore Services, this work continues every single day. It’s in the relationships we build, the opportunities we create, and the support we provide to help people live more independent, fulfilling lives.

Thank you to our staff, families, partners, and community for being part of this journey. Let’s keep choosing inclusion, understanding, and opportunity, not just in March, but all year long.

We had the pleasure of hosting the Danville Rotary Club for lunch yesterday, and it was truly a special day!

Our clients took the lead in preparing a delicious feast, showcasing their talents and teamwork. We also enjoyed a wonderful reading by our very own Ryan, who shared his new children’s book, Forest of New Beginnings. We wrapped up the visit with a tour of our facility, giving guests a closer look at the impact of our programs.

It was an incredible experience, and we’re hopeful this is just the beginning of a new and meaningful tradition!
