Wise Wellness Wednesday: Exiting Autopilot

💼 Wake up. Clock in. Show up. Smile on cue. Clock out. Collapse. Somewhere along the way, surviving became the standard.
But you weren’t made just to make it through the day or until Friday.

💡 Wellness Tip:
Start reclaiming your days with small moments of intention:
– Begin your day with a few moments that belong solely to you. Incorporate simple things such as lighting candles, stretching or prayer to make it personal.
– Play music, recite affirmations or complete a journal entry before you log in.
– Ask yourself: What do I need today?

🧠 You don’t need a vacation to feel alive. You need to assign meaning to the mundane.

Where in my life am I just “going through the motions,” and what would it look like to move with meaning?

Wise Wellness Wednesday: How to Practice Wellness While Dating

Dating can be exciting. 💘 However it should never cost you your peace. Wellness in dating isn’t about being the perfect person, it’s about being present, clear, and grounded in who you are.

Here’s how to center wellness while you explore connection:



💡 1. Pause before Pursuing
Check in with you before checking in with them.
→ Am I dating because I’m ready, or because I’m lonely, bored, or avoiding healing?



💡 2. Lead With Boundaries, Not Fear
Boundaries aren’t walls, they’re windows into your values.
→ Communicate your needs early. Don’t wait until things get uncomfortable before enforcing boundaries.



💡 3. Stay In the Present, Not the Potential
Fall in love with who they are, NOT who you hope they become.
→ Fantasy can be a trauma response. Reality is the wellness check.



💡 4. Don’t Abandon Yourself to Be Chosen
You should not have to shrink, overextend, or overperform just to be loved.
→ If dating feels like you’re giving more than you get, take a pause.

Wise Wellness Wednesday: So Anxious

😵‍💫 Anxiety doesn’t always look like panic. It can present as perfectionism, procrastination, overthinking, or people-pleasing.

💡 Wellness Tip: When anxiety kicks in, shift from reaction to regulation. Try this:
• Breathe in for 4, hold for 4, out for 6
• Ground with your 5 senses, name:
5 things you see
4 things you can touch
3 things you hear
2 things you smell
1 thing you can taste
• Give your thoughts a name, not a home

🧠 Reminder: You are not your anxious thoughts. Just because you think it, doesn’t make it true.

✨ If anxiety feels like it’s rooted in past experiences or trauma, EMDR therapy can be a helpful tool for rewiring those patterns.

You’re allowed to feel it and find relief.
