It’s with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Courtney Demond Davis on Sun., Jan. 19, 2020.
He was born in Danville, Virginia on Aug. 24,1982 to Namond Darry Johnson and Jacqueline Davis Crisco.
He is survived by a daughter, K’Nasia King; a son, Xyheir Johnson; Stepfather, Charles Crisco, Jr.; two sisters; Melissa Crisco and Anitria Henderson; two brothers; Cory Davis and Arsha’ Henderson; Paternal Grandfather, Gus Davis and a host of other relatives and friends.
The Celebration of Life Service will be held Tues., Jan. 28, 2020 at 2:00PM from the DL McLaughlin Funeral Chapel. A viewing will begin at 12 Noon the day of the service. Interment will be held at a later date.
The family will receive guests at the residence of his mother and stepfather, 292 Guilford St.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Zollie West Jr. will be held Monday, January 20, 2020 at 12:00 Noon from the New Hope Apostolic Church with Pastor Michael Walker as eulogist. Interment will follow at Highland Burial Park. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Mr. West leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Mother Terrasee West, two daughters, a stepdaughter and two grandchildren.
The family is at the residence, 256 Franklin Place. Guests may visit the residence between 2:00-6:00PM each day.
