While we are available and on call 24/7, 365 days a year, it is only fair to give our staff time off to be with their families and celebrate whatever holiday traditions they have.

So our office will be closed at Noon on Christmas Eve and remain closed all day Christmas Day. Staffing will also be minimal on Friday, December 26th.

Our owner Jen Kruger is on call as always for any immediate needs or concerns, 24/7 and can be reached by phone at 217-442-4300, extension 1.

May God bless every one of our friends out there. Hold your families tight, let those close to you know how important they are, and never take a day for granted. Time is gone in the blink of an eye.

Dorothy Crane, 73 of Danville, passed away Friday, December 19th at OSF St. Joseph's in Bloomington. Per her wishes, she has requested a cremation and no services. The family has a link below to read the full obituary, or to make a donation to assist the family with cremation expenses.

Stevie Don, as he was affectionately known to those who knew and loved him, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025. His smile, friendly personality, and fun-loving nature will be greatly missed.

Doyne Krage, 81 of Bedford, IN and formerly of Danville, left us peacefully on Friday, December 12, 2025. She joined those who passed before her in Heavenly slumber.

She leaves behind her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and two siblings who will miss her everyday. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they celebrate a wonderful like, full of love and warm memories.

Millie Varvel, known as Sis to those who held her close, passed away on December 9th in St. Elmo, Illinois. She had a passion for Bingo and Gambling, loved her grandchildren and her dog Buddy, and had an amazing sense of humor. She could also tell stories like no one else.

While we all hold our memories of her close to our hearts, we invite you to share in a Memorial Celebration/Visitation at Kruger Funeral Home on Thur, Dec. 18th from 5-7pm. Share your own stories, some laughter, and some tears, as we remember an amazing woman.
