Many of you have heard one of my absolute favorite stories about giving a young girl hearing aids around Christmas. She had ask Santa for them the year before and Santa just couldn’t swing it. So the young girl was one of the sweetest stories of excitement in getting new hearing aids right before Christmas.

I have been able to follow this girl who is now a beautiful young woman who went on to graduate college and start her career.

Yesterday we posted our Giving Tuesday Fundraiser and she was one of the amazing persons who donated. This filled my heart and brought a tear to my eye.

Generosity has come full circle! Thank you all for your continued support!

What a great night!! Danville Volleyball held a fundraiser at their game tonight to bring awareness for athletes who are deaf & hard of hearing. All the monies raised tonight are being donated to Katie’s Hear To Help. We can’t thank them enough for putting this together!!

We are feeling very honored! Danville Warrior Volleyball team has chosen Katie’s Hear To Help to be the recipient of the Warriors vs Warriors Helping Warriors! This silent auction & raffle during the game has become a great tradition with Covenant Christian HS. This years game will be played Thursday evening at Danville High School.

We no longer have to imagine a world that mask are mandated or required. This is not just for hospitals anymore. This is a nightmare for many people who are deaf or hard of hearing. Please be aware and PLEASE be patient!!

Medical and surgical masks can block speech signals and important information, making this an even more important issue in the Era of COVID-19.

Friends! Be patient when wearing a mask. The person you are speaking to may be deaf or hard of hearing. They may rely on reading your lips. Don’t yell just kindly step back to a safe distance and remove your mask. They can then read your lips. This is a difficult time for everyone imagine adding not being able to hear clearly.
