Job description:
Assists the professional nursing staff by performing simple nursing procedures and personal activities which enhance the safety and well being of the patient. All responsibilities carried out in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Provides patient care as directed by care plan.
Develops and maintains effective communication with the patient/significant others and health team members.
Participates in providing safe environment.
Maintains equipment and supplies.
Demonstrates accurate documentation ability.
Participates in in-service staff meetings to broaden knowledge base and acquire skills necessary to care for patients and increase personal growth.
Demonstrates an awareness of responsibilities and professionalism.
Contributes to a positive work climate and the promotion of patient satisfaction through compliance with customer relation standards.
Performs related responsibilities as required or directed.
Must have access to transportation sufficient to meet requirements of the job.

Job description:
Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville, AR is seeking an experienced RN for Director of Home Health.
Our program covers both Yell and Perry counties.
The Home Health division has been providing services to our community neighbors for over 45 years.
This position is responsible for directing the delivery of home health services to our clients.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
Requirements/Qualifications:

Position requirements:
RN License, BSN with at least 3 years' experience in a home health management role.
Good understanding of OASIS, QAPI, PDGM, Medicare and State rules.
Provides leadership, supervision, training, and direction to clinical and office staff.
Supervises skilled care and waiver programs provided by the agency.
Prepares monthly schedules for the nursing staff.
Provides coverage as needed for the nursing staff.
Responsible for referral intake, oversight of eligibility of patients referred for home health services.
Implements and maintains good administrative practices, policies, and procedures that assure compliance with State and Federal regulations.
Participates in committees for the hospital.

Hours are
Sunday-Thursday 10pm to 6am

Responsibilities:
Checking patients in to the ER
Answering phone calls
Admitting patients to hospital
Transferring patients out to other facilities
Using multiple websites to check insurance eligibility
Scanning information in to accounts
Working closely with Physicians and Nurses
Covering other shifts when needed
Other duties as assigned
