Archery classes with Jessica Curtsinger Archery Instructor are going great. Our free YES! Program is giving kids a chance to learn a new skill while building their self awareness and confidence in making healthy choices through the Trait-Based Prevention Model.

Congratulations to this son and mom! Recovery heals families too!

A BIG! Congratulations to today’s graduate! He is moving into transitional housing and our IOP program as he takes the next steps in his recovery. Tosha, Client Support and his proud mother had the privilege of handing him his certificate. Their smiles make a beautiful picture that says it all! 💙

The YES! Program’s results are undeniable. The Trait Based Prevention Model is changing the way students see themselves.

Prevention does not have to rely on fear.
It can start with strength.

In the Y.E.S. Program, 97.7% of students improved in at least one core trait, the same traits that serve as protective factors against risk and emotional distress.

Over half also reported improved self-image and reduced depression, showing that when we nurture what is strong within students, well-being follows.

Through the Trait-Based Model of Prevention, students are not being warned away from danger. They are being guided toward confidence, purpose, and balance.

Authenticity, empathy, and self-awareness are not just traits. They are the roots of healthy choices, belonging, and leadership. 🌱

October is National Substance Abuse Prevention Month to raise awareness about the dangers of substance use and to promote healthy decision-making.

Our YES! Program funded and developed through Healing Families Together is a prevention program for at-risk youth to be empowered with the self confidence to make healthy decisions.

You can sign up your child for free, after school 🎯archery or 🥋martial arts classes and each class will have a mentor who will teach the Trait Based Prevention Model. Apply today by reaching out to Nick Rhodus at nrhodus@atr1.org
