We like to call this our Signature Program where we continue the normalcy of their once-daily habits.

A few of our Sweet Memories ladies love baking and all that comes with it. This time, they chose to create blueberry muffins, which sparked memories of pastimes with family. 👨‍🍳

Our residents always look forward to visiting Yoder's Country Market. 🛍️✨

Not so long ago, our Independent Living gals enjoyed a trip to this charming, fashion store. Yoder’s offers artisan meats, organic products, health foods, local produce, and friendly staff.

The deli is a favorite, with plenty of tasty options. As Katie shared, “I love this shop! I hope we visit again soon!“ 👏

Last Friday, we celebrated the retirement of our Resident Program Director, Dale, and we did it in true style…with a Halloween twist! 🎃👻

Residents and associates came together for an awesome farewell filled with costumes, games, and plenty of sweet treats.

Thanks to Eddie and Samantha from Commonwealth Healthcare at Home - Danville for bringing the wonderful cupcakes for us to enjoy.

What a fantastic week we had celebrating Halloween Spirit Week! 🎃👻

From Witchy Wednesday to Twin Tuesday, FaBOOlous Friday, and all the laughter in between — our residents and team members really showed their spooky spirit.

Inspired by our October theme of Vintage Candy and Toys, our Assisted Living residents crafted old-fashioned yarn dolls and turned them into witches in time for Halloween. 🧶🤩

They had great fun creating them and a big thanks to volunteer, Kaye, for the creative activities you join us for!

Betty treated everyone to a lovely rendition of "Blessed Assurance" by Alan Jackson. To our surprise, she even created her own microphone for the performance.

What could be better than hot chili on a cold evening? That’s exactly what our amazing Dining Services Director, Lakeisha, and her team prepared for ! 😋

Each option featured a steaming bowl of chili with all the fixings, a salted baked potato, and jalapeño cornbread.

For dessert, Lakeisha delighted us with a delicious cherry-pineapple dump cake recipe from Florence, one of our wonderful Independent Living residents. It was definitely a crowd pleaser! 🍽️🥧
