Non-profit program that provides social & recreational opportunities for the special needs community

EFGC opened the doors October 31, 2011 to 8 participants who all wanted the same things - friends. During the past 12 years we have grown and have served over 200 families. EFGC offers a vast range of activities including; cooking, art, Special Olympics, service projects, field trips and much more. Most of all our Participants and Caregivers now have a place to call their own. If you are interested in learning about EFGC please contact us at 251.625.8955

A week later and we’re still smiling from Cheers to Charities at Fairhope Brewing! 🍻 Thank you to Fairhope Brewing Company for welcoming us year after year, and to Randy for bartending with our Executive Director, Jennifer, to help raise funds for EFGC. We’re so thankful for a night that brings our community together in support of our mission!

We are incredibly grateful to Fairhope Elks Lodge #1879 for their generous support! 💙

Using funds from the Alabama Elks State Trust grant, we were able to complete needed repairs to our van and add brand new lettering—helping us safely transport our Participants to field trips, community outings, and special events.

🎄✨ We’re so thankful to the City of Spanish Fort for letting us spotlight EFGC in their 2nd Annual Christmas Tree Pageant!

Our Participants had a blast decorating and spreading holiday cheer. 🌟 Judging will be held tonight during the City’s annual Cookies with Santa & Holiday Book Reading event at 6 PM—come see our tree and our Participants’ creativity shine! ❤️

🎄💛 Every holiday season, Target chooses a nonprofit to support—and this year, their team of Santa’s elves granted our wishlist!

Our Participants got to unwrap gifts we’ll use here at EFGC—in our cooking program, sensory room, and daily activities. Watch this video to see the smiles as they experience the magic! 🎁✨
