Today— and every day — we pause to honor the incredible men and women who have served our country with courage, strength, and sacrifice. ❤️

At Solace Hospice Care, we have the privilege of caring for veterans and their families, and this week we’re visiting our local community partners to express our heartfelt gratitude. Each veteran we visited received a framed certificate of appreciation, took part in a flag pinning ceremony, and was given the opportunity to share stories and memories from their time in service.

These moments of reflection and connection remind us of the profound impact our veterans have made — not only on our nation, but in our hearts and communities.

To our veterans: you are seen, valued, and deeply appreciated.

To their families: your love and sacrifice do not go unnoticed.

This week we came together to celebrate Día de los Mu***os — a cherished tradition that reminds us to honor and remember the lives of those who have gone before us. 💛

Our team created a beautiful table filled with photos, candles, flowers, and heartfelt memories of our loved ones who have touched our lives. Día de los Mu***os is a reminder that while they may be gone, their love, stories, and spirit remain with us always. 🌼✨

This evening, one of our wonderful Community Relations Representatives, Vicki, brought her creativity and warmth to a local Trunk or Treat event!🌴🏖️

Her beach-themed trunk was a huge hit — complete with sunny vibes, ocean décor, and plenty of smiles. 🐚☀️💙

The roof is taking shape! Our hospice house is looking more like a home every day — the shingles are going on this week!

We’re thrilled to share an update on the progress of our new Hospice House! 🏡

The construction team has been hard at work, and we’re excited to announce that the plywood is now on the roof, and the windows have been installed! 🔨💪

It’s truly starting to take shape, and we couldn’t be more grateful for all the support we’ve received.

This space will soon be a place of comfort, peace, and compassionate care for our patients and their families. We’re moving one step closer to providing an even more serene environment for those who need us most.

🍂🎉 Solace Hospice Care's Annual Fall Party! 🎉🍂

We had a wonderful time this week celebrating the season at our Annual Fall Party! It was a special occasion, as we got to honor our mommy-to-be, Hannah! 🤰💕

The event was filled with fun:

🔥 A Chili Cook-Off with some seriously delicious dishes, and cash prizes for the top four winners!

🎁 Door prizes including Halloween Bogg Bags and beautiful fall wreaths

🍁 Everyone got creative with a DIY activity, making cute fall centerpieces using floral stems and candy corn! 🍬

Hannah was also showered with love and thoughtful gifts as she gets ready to welcome her baby in December. 🍼💖 We know she’s going to be an amazing mom — she already takes such incredible care of our patients as a nurse, and we have no doubt she’ll bring the same love and dedication to her baby.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and made this celebration so special! We can’t wait for more moments like this. 🍁✨
