On behalf of the management and staff of Darien Funeral Home, we humbly ask that you continue to keep the family of Bishop Eddie Stevens lifted before the Lord in your prayers during this sacred and tender hour of remembrance.

We give thanks to God for a life wholly dedicated to the Lord—a life poured out in faithful service, quiet sacrifice, and unwavering trust in God’s purpose. Bishop Stevens walked with God, leaned on His promises, and served with a heart committed to pleasing Him. His faith was not only spoken, but lived, touching lives and leaving a lasting witness of God’s love, grace, and truth.

As we come together in reflection, we are reminded that the same God who called His servant to labor has now gently called him to rest. Though we feel the pain of separation, we are comforted by the assurance that those who belong to the Lord are never lost, but are safely held in His eternal care. We grieve, yet we grieve with hope—hope rooted in the promise that death is not the end, and that eternal peace awaits the faithful.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day.”
— 2 Timothy 4:7–8 (NKJV)

On behalf of the management and staff of Darien Funeral Home, we respectfully ask that you continue to keep the family of Mr. Joseph Miller, a faithful and dedicated Deacon of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, lifted in your hearts, thoughts, and prayers during this sacred hour of remembrance.

May every expression of love, each spoken word of comfort, and all prayers offered strengthen and sustain the family as they reflect on a life of service, faith, and devotion.

As we gather in this moment of reflection, we are reminded that God, in His divine wisdom, grants rest to His servants after their earthly labor is complete. Though we mourn, we do not grieve without hope, for we trust in the promise of eternal life and everlasting peace.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day.”

On behalf of the management and staff of Darien Funeral Home, we humbly ask that you continue to hold the family of Frances Rhaney close in your hearts, thoughts, and prayers during this delicate season of loss. May each kind gesture, every comforting word, and all prayers shared bring strength, solace, and quiet reassurance as they navigate the days ahead.

In times of grief, we are reminded that God lovingly calls His faithful children into eternal rest—a place where suffering ceases and perfect peace abides.

“The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death.”
— Isaiah 57:1–2 (NIV)
