On behalf of the management and staff of Darien Funeral Home, we lovingly ask that you keep the family of Victoria Jones lifted in your thoughts and prayers during this tender time. May every expression of love, every word of comfort, and every prayer offered become a source of strength, hope, and gentle peace for the family as they journey through the days ahead.

In moments of sorrow, we are reminded that God gathers His precious ones into eternal rest, a place where pain fades and peace reigns.

"The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death."
— Isaiah 57:1–2 (NIV)

May the comforting presence of God surround the family now and in all the days to come.

With humble acceptance of Gods will We, the management and staff of Darien Funeral Home announce the passing of Mrs. Victoria Jones of Riceboro, GA, on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at her residence. During this time of profound loss, we extend our sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Jones Family...

This Thanksgiving, we at Darien Funeral Home pause with grateful hearts to reflect on the strength, love, and resilience we witness every day within our community. We are honored to walk beside families during some of life’s most difficult moments, and we never take that trust for granted.

As we gather with loved ones—whether in moments of joy, remembrance, or quiet reflection—may we all find comfort in the connections that sustain us. Thanksgiving reminds us that even in seasons of loss, there is still space for gratitude: for the lives that touched ours, the memories that remain, and the support we find in one another.

From our family to yours, we wish you peace, warmth, and gentle moments of gratitude this holiday season.
Happy Thanksgiving.

"If we have been pleased with
life, we should not be
displeased with death, since it
comes from the hand of the
same Master."

With compassion, reverence, and faith, the management and staff of Darien Funeral Home acknowledge the passing of Ms. Shirley C. Walker. We lift up her family and loved ones in prayer, asking God to surround them with His peace, His comfort, and His unfailing love during this season of grief.

Shirley has now returned to the presence of the One who created her, loved her, and guided her throughout her earthly journey. Though her absence leaves a deep ache, her spirit lives on—resting safely in God’s eternal care. Her life was a reflection of His grace, and her light continues to shine through the memories she leaves behind.

May the Holy Spirit strengthen and uphold all who mourn, reminding them that “the Lord is near to the brokenhearted.”
May they find assurance in the promise of everlasting life, and may the hope of reunion bring comfort to their hearts.

May Shirley’s memory be a blessing, her legacy a testimony, and her soul at peace in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father.

The Management and Staff of Darien Funeral Home pause to honor the life and legacy of Mr. Robert Lee Everson, Sr.

He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, warm smile, and the generosity he shared so freely with all who knew him. As a devoted shrimpman, he carried the strength of the sea in his hands and the kindness of a true sailor in his heart. Beyond his work on the water, he was a dedicated church member, a faithful Sunday School teacher, and a longterm Deacon of Elm Grove Baptist Church sharing wisdom, faith, and encouragement with everyone he taught.

In his quieter moments, he found joy in the simple things—especially in being a wonderful biscuit maker, a gift his family and friends cherished.

His presence brought comfort, and his life reflected the values of love, faith, hard work, and integrity.

We extend our deepest condolences to the Everson family and to everyone whose lives were touched by his grace and steadfast spirit. In this season of sorrow, we stand beside you, surrounding you with love and support.

May the cherished memories of Mr. Everson bring peace to your hearts and light to the days ahead. We invite all to keep his family lifted in your thoughts and prayers, offering strength, comfort, and hope during this difficult time.
