Celebrating Thanksgiving at Atria Darien, residents and families at came together for a celebration filled with gratitude and joy. We shared laughter, delicious food, and wonderful memories, giving thanks for all the blessings in our lives. A huge thank you goes out to our dedicated DCS, Parker,

Thank you, Representative Tracy Marra, for taking the time to meet with our residents! During our discussion, Rep. Marra addressed crucial topics including drug prices and accessibility, the Prescription Drug Task Force, Connecticut's high energy costs and Public Benefits Charges, clean energy options, education, taxes, and the pressing issue of affordability. The conversation was insightful, and we truly appreciate the back-and-forth dialogue. We look forward to welcoming you back soon!

At Atria Darien, Taste of Greece was a celebration of Heritage and Culture. 🇬🇷 We had an incredible day celebrating the rich traditions and authentic flavors of Greece! From appetizers to the delicious Pastitsio and Spanakopita crafted by Petula and Kiki to the delicious Greek Chicken Souvlaki and Bronzini Mediterranean Style prepared by D.C.S., Parker, every dish was a delightful tribute to Greek cuisine. A special shoutout to A.D.C.S., Andrew, for the mouthwatering baklava that was the perfect sweet ending to our feast! To top it all off, we enjoyed a screening of the classic film Zorba The Greek! OPA!

🎨Crafts and Story Time at Atria Darien! 🍂📚Our residents and the children from Saint Luke’s Preschool came together for an afternoon filled with creativity and storytelling. The kids enjoyed crafting adorable turkey door k***s. Then Louise M., captivated the children with a Thanksgiving story.

We had an incredible afternoon at our recent Social Series: Coats & Kindness! A huge thank you to Pinky of Greenwich for their tremendous support and for bringing their fabulous store to us. A huge shoutout to our amazing resident models and to our Resident Service Director, Lyz P. Our fashion show fundraiser for Malta House. We are thankful for the donations of coats and kindness. We are donating to Malta House. Together, we’re not just collecting coats; we’re spreading kindness and building a stronger, more compassionate community. Let’s continue to uplift each other and make a positive impact!

Today, we honored and celebrated our incredible Veterans! 🇺🇸 It was a busy day filled with a special Veterans Day lunch, inspiring lecture, and a fantastic performance dedicated to those who have served. Thank you for your bravery and sacrifice!

🎉Diwali: The Festival of Lights🎉 It is a vibrant festival across India. We explored the traditions and customs that make this holiday so special. From learning about the significance of the festival to understanding the rituals involved. We also indulged in an array of sweets, each with its unique flavor and story. The preparation for Diwali is a labor of love, filled with decoration, family gatherings, and the joy of giving. Wishing everyone a joyous Diwali filled with light, love, and happiness! 🪔

Taste of Atria Poland 🇵🇱
We had a great day exploring the historic Bedzin Castle, a stunning medieval fortress dating back to the 14th century in southern Poland. 🏰 To top off our adventure, we enjoyed a delicious traditional Polish meal that showcased the flavors of the region. 🍽️ As a memorable conclusion to our journey, we wrapped up our fork to film experience with The Zookeeper's Wife. 🎥
