Our residents had an incredible time at this year's artisan show, where we showcased the fascinating history of breadmaking. Our residents not only enjoyed a delightful tasting experience featuring four distinct specialty breads, but also savored delectable spreads and butters that perfectly complemented the artisanal breads. Furthermore, they engaged in a fun and educational trivia game centered around the rich history of breadmaking. Overall, the event was a resounding success, and our residents left with both their stomachs and minds full!

This Halloween, all of us here at Selleck’s Woods had the pleasure of hosting a delightful celebration – Our young friends from the local Methodist Family Center preschool in Darien graced us with their presence for a spooktacular Halloween bash. The event was a true feast for the senses, as the students were treated to delectable goodies, snacks, and a bounty of fresh fruits. The highlight of the day was a charming Halloween parade, where the little ones paraded in their most stunning and imaginative costumes for all to admire!

Our Chili Cook-Off here at Selleck's Woods was a great success! We had three fantastic participants: Our talented Culinary Chef, our dedicated Head of Nursing, and our friend from the Osborne. It was truly a delightful cook-off where everyone showcased their skills and passion for cooking, and we are pleased to share that the event was filled with excitement and delicious tastings. All the participants were winners, as each chili dish brought a unique and delectable flavor to the table – Great job to all those involved in making the cook-off a memorable and tasty experience!
