šøOoof, Iāve been sitting on these photos for a while. I took the ones from 2023 for b/c I was having her evaluate my posture to deal with IT Band pain and my āduck footedness.ā It was only b/c she needed these photos to do the evaluation that I took them. Trust me, there is no way I wanted to record what I looked like in a sports bra in July of 2023.
The second set, I took yesterday. I tried to make them as comparable as possible⦠During menopause, in a matter of months, I put on a tremendous amount of weight - seemingly overnight.
Ā I felt defeated, I could not lose weight and nothing fit. It took me a minimum of 20 minutes to figure out what I was gonna wear every day because I had to try things on.
Today, I feel so free because all my clothes fit and I have tons of energy. Iāve learned so much about what foods work for me - and what doesnāt.
Hereās what I did:
1. I found a hormone literate nutritionist (xo )
2. I interviewed a number of gynecologists until I found one that was an expert about hormone replacement therapy. (DM me if you want the name of mine)
3. I was really dedicated to my nutrition plan and to lifting weights with progressive overload at least three times a week. (TY Equinox Darien and Southport)
