Join us for Parenting Your Anxious Child: the SPACE Workshop, a 3-part, evidence-based series rooted in the SPACE model developed through the Yale Child Study Center. This approach empowers parents with practical tools to reduce childhood anxiety. No child participation required. Suitable for all ages and stages.

We’ll cover common challenges like separation anxiety, social anxiety, fears, OCD, panic, and picky eating, with a special integrative lens from Annie Harrington, who will share how pediatric integrative medicine supports anxious kids through mind, body, and lifestyle care.

If your teen crashes all week then sleeps in on the weekend, you’re not alone. And here’s the good news: a little weekend catch up sleep may actually help.

New research suggests there’s a sweet spot. Teens who sleep up to two extra hours on weekends show fewer symptoms of anxiety compared to those who don’t catch up at all. But sleeping in much longer than that can backfire, increasing anxiety and mood concerns by disrupting the body’s internal clock.

The takeaway isn’t perfection. It’s balance.

Encourage sleep as a priority during the week. Allow a reasonable weekend sleep in. And focus on consistency, screen boundaries, and routines that support your teen’s nervous system and mental health.

Sleep isn’t laziness. It’s protection.
