✨ Sewa Diwali 2025: 83,000 lbs of food donated across Connecticut! ✨

The Hindu community—joined by student volunteers and corporate sponsors—came together again this year to spread light through Sewa (selfless service).

📦 83,000 pounds of food donated
🏛️ Distributed across 20+ pantries statewide
🪔 First Diwali recognized as a state holiday in Connecticut
🤝 Supported by mayors, state reps, and community leaders

Top beneficiary organizations include:

South: The Food Bank (Stamford), Person-to-Person (Norwalk), Malta House (Norwalk)
North: MD FOX Pantry (Hartford), Glastonbury Food Pantry, Simsbury Food Pantry

This movement continues to grow nationwide—uniting families, dharmic communities, schools, and service organizations in giving back.
