The family will begin receiving friends on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at 603 W. Broad Street, Darlington, SC 29532.

Mother Katie Bell Charles peacefully transitioned on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at her daughter, Pastor Linda Gail Lynch residence.

The family will receive friends beginning Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 1401 N. Buncombe Rd., Florence, SC 29506, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Celebration of life will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Tabernacle Worship Center, 1200 S. Main St., Darlington, SC 29532. Interment will follow at Faith Memorial Gardens, Rogers Rd., Darlington, SC.

Celebration of life for Apostle Dr. Charley L. Johnson will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Tabernacle Worship Center, 1200 S. Main St., Darlington, SC 29532. Elder Timothy Ballard, Officiating, and Archbishop Freddie B. Marshall, Eulogist. Interment will follow at Round O Baptist Church Cemetery.

Apostle Johnson will lie in state from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 6:00 p.m., on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Tabernacle Worship Center, 1200 S. Main St., Darlington, SC 29532.
