Hey gang…

I only post this because we had a lot of people scheduled yesterday and today.

I’m doing fine but wasted.

I woke up Thursday night about 4 AM with horrible left flank hip leg abdominal and groin pain.

But worse than that, I was shaking like it was below zero in my bedroom. I was cramping and I had very little muscle strength and thought I was going to vomit.

My first thought was that I was dehydrated. I kept chugging water, but I wasn’t really getting any better. I seemed to be getting worse. I was stubborn but then eventually succumbed to going to the hospital around noon on Friday.

I was so weak I barely made it into the E room.

CT,bloodwork and labs said everything was good. My CK was elevated but not sky high. Apparently my kidneys were screaming for fluid. They were concerned about Rhabdo, but no organ damage detected.

As soon as they started pumping the fluid IVs into me I perked up. 

Within about a half an hour, almost every bit of back groin, leg, and hip and abdominal pain starting to subside and it’s completely gone now.

Anytime I post anything about me missing work. I’m not looking for sympathy. I’m doing well, but just wasted and dont have all my strength back. I have to miss work again today on Saturday.

Just wanted to inform patients why we had to cancel on everybody.

Someone gave me the gift of a fever.

I’m fine and we are calling patients to reschedule them.

Just wanted to announce it because we get walk-ins as well.

Looks like it’s Cannon and CHiPS reruns for me today.
