James “Jamie” DeLeon Munn, III age 44 of Lamar, passed away Friday, February 20, 2026 after a brief battle with cancer. A memorial service will be held at 5:00pm Monday, February 23, 2026 at Belk Funeral Home Chapel, Lamar with a visitation one hour prior starting at 4 pm.

Born October 26, 1981, in Darlington County, he is the son of Lyna Watford Munn and the late James DeLeon Munn, Jr. Jamie worked many years at San-Glo Auto Glass where he was the self-proclaimed “Windshield Guru”. He was a passionate Cowboys and Gamecocks football fan. Jamie always looked forward to weekends during football season, enjoying the “energy” created by the excitement, comradery, and cheering for your favorite team. He was most proud of his boys and enjoyed spending time with them and making memories. One of his favorite being trying to throw them off the tube during their boat ride. He also loved riding his Harley.

Jamie will be remembered as a loving, funny, compassionate and kind person that would do anything for anybody.

Surviving his mom, Lyna Watford Munn, his step father, George Parnell, his son, Dylan, and twin sons, Aiden and Ethan Munn, his sister, Lindsay Munn, his fiancée, Christa Floyd who he loved and who made him happy; her children, Bazleigh and Bazen Floyd, his niece, Megan Butler and grandmothers, Mary Jo Watford and Cynthia Morrell, Melonie Lee his favorite aunt (Sissy), many friends, cousins and extended family members.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by grandfathers, Larry Eugene Watford and James D. Munn, Sr. and his cousin Dana Michelle Weaver, and uncle Gary Eugene “Gene” Watford.

Dennis “Butch” Craig Jordan, age 71, died Thursday, February 19, 2026, at his residence. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, February 23, 2026, at Wesley Chapel Methodist Church of Lydia. Burial will follow in the church cemetery directed by Belk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall at the church one hour prior to the service.

Butch was born in Hartsville, son of the late Ernest and Ophelia Jordan, Jr. He graduated from Lamar High School attended Francis Marion University and had an Associates Degree from Florence Darlington Technical College. He started his career as an electrician at Kentco, and most recently worked at Perfection Clutch and RBC. He was an avid Clemson and Atlanta Braves fan. Butch was proud of his two boys whom he loved. Butch had a special place in his heart for his grandchildren. He loved his sisters and was good about staying in touch with them.

Surviving are his sons: Matthew (Jackie) Jordan, Ben (Chrissy) Jordan; his sisters: Janice Ard, Elaine (Lenny) Carpenter, Phoebe (Danny) Stokes; grandchildren: Lexi, Liam aka “Limbo”, Skye Jordan, EmiLee Beeman, TayLynn and Wyatt aka “BoBo” Jordan along with many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, sister, Brenda Morrell brother-in-law, Willard Ard and many nieces and nephews.

Frances “Tunkie” Cole Stokes, passed away on Thursday, February 19th, 2026, at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence SC.

She was born on August 20th, 1938 in Greenville, South Carolina to the late Richard Ansel Cole and Mozelle White Cole. She met and married the love of her life Sam Watson Stokes, Sr in Pickens. Tunkie graduated from Pickens High School then finished Columbia College. She was a successful entrepreneur and teacher, partnering in two successful businesses and teaching commercial cooking at the Pickens County Vocational School. She was a wonderful cook, loved reading, enjoyed traveling with family and friends and spent many Saturdays tailgating at Georgia Bulldog football games.

She leaves behind her son Sam (Shari Porter) Stokes, Jr. two grandchildren: Molly McHugh Stokes and Mary Frances Stokes, a great grandchild Athens Porter Mozingo, and a cousin Mary (Will) Liles Gravely.

Preceding her in death are her husband Sam Watson Stokes, Sr. her parents Richard and Mozelle Cole, her aunts Mary White Liles, Lucille White Rickborn, and her cousin Ephriam Rutledge Liles, Jr.

She was a longtime member of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Powdersville, SC, where her memorial service and inurnment will be held at 1:00 pm on February 28th, 2026. The family will receive friends at 135 Glassy Mountain Street, Pickens, SC 29671 on Friday, February 27, 2026 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm.

Memorials in her honor may be made to St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 1200 Powdersville Road Easley, SC 29642.

Christopher Trey Lloyd passed away on Tuesday, February 17th, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held for him on Sunday, February 22nd, 2026 in the Belk Funeral Home Chapel in Darlington at 5:00pm. The family will receive friends following the service.

Trey was born November 20th, 1984 to Tommy C. Lloyd and Linda Faye Smith Lloyd of Darlington, SC. He loved the outdoors and working in the yards with his Dad. Spending time with his sister Ginger and all of his Mill Hill friends.

He leaves behind his son Zachary Blackwell of Darlington, his parents Tommy and Faye, his sister Ginger Faye Lloyd of Darlington. His uncles: Timmy Lloyd and Todd Lloyd of Darlington, Bobby Bell of Lamar, and Joey Blackwell of Darlington. Along with his aunts: Marcie Blackwell and Elana Wilkes of Hartsville. His cousins: Shawn Lloyd, Chad Lloyd, Tracy Lloyd who all reside in Darlington. His close friends Doonie Odom, Jr., Phillip Miller, Katina Gainey, Kimberely Hopkins Davis, Dave Nolan, Jessey(JB) Braxton, Joseph Andrews, and Maria(MUD)Kennedy. He is preceded in death by the love of his life Kimberly Norris. For those who knew him will miss him dearly.

Sarah Jean Oates Taylor, 95, of Mankato, Minnesota passed away on February 18, 2026.

Jean was born July 23, 1930, in Timmonsville, SC, daughter of Mae Elizabeth Rogers and Roland Mahoney Oates. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years, Ted Taylor, who passed away in 2016.

A true Southern belle, her selfless acts of charity, warmth and kindness to others have been felt by many and left an indelible mark on all of us who have had the privilege of calling her Mom, Grandma Jean, Mema and friend.

Jean was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in many capacities, including Relief Society President and other callings. Her greatest calling being that of wife and mother.

She was a Girl Scout leader for many years leading her troop from Brownies to Seniors. Many wonderful memories are held by "her girls".

Side by side, Jean and Ted, were hard workers making a wonderful home in Darlington, SC for their family and children. In 1972 they left Darlington to move out west to start a new career of motel management, living in Kingman, AZ, Battle Mountain, NV, Blythe, CA and settling for many years in St George, UT.

Jean was faithful in her love for her husband, Ted, whom she cared for so lovingly until his death in 2016. She will be deeply missed by her surviving family that include one daughter, Lorraine (Michael) Edwards of Blue Mountain, MS; two sons, Wesley (Lisa) Taylor of Mankato, MN and

Ted W. (Lori) Taylor of St George, UT; eight grandchildren, Kelly (Dan) Reid of Wilmington, NC, Kami (Jeremy) Foster of Tell City, IN, Kyle (Nikki) Edwards of Blue Mountain, MS, James Taylor of Mankato, MN, Sarah (Beau) Robertson of Caldwell, ID, Nikelle (Adly) Flores of St George, UT, Megan Marshall and Skyler Marshall of St George, UT; surviving, also, are 15 great grandchildren; 3 precious nieces, Bobbie Gentry of Greenville, SC, Georgette Davis of Rock Hill, SC and DeeDee St Amand of Toccoa, GA and many great nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death other than her husband, Ted, were her parents, two sisters, Gladys (Richard) Clarke and Johnnie (Robert) Culbertson and a grandson, Kristian Edwards.

We will all miss our beautiful loving mother, and may she rest in the arms of Jesus until we meet again as an eternal family.

A family graveside service will be held in the fall of 2026 at Grove Hill Cemetery in Darlington, South Carolina.

Rose Anne Robinson, 89, went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ last night, on Wednesday, February 18th, 2026. A visitation will be held for her on Sunday, February 22nd, 2026 at Belk Funeral Home of Darlington at 2:00 to 3:00 pm. Her funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm in the Belk Funeral Home Chapel.

Rose was born April 20th, 1936 in Darlington to the late William Richard Byrd and Merle Byrd of Darlington. She was a member of Central Baptist Church and the Robert Clyde Ladies Sunday School Class. She was a member of the Central’s Adult choir for many years and began singing as a young girl in Centrals first youth choir. For many years she worked as a teacher for the Mother’s Day out program at Central Baptist and still shares with other’s the laughter of the children would bring to her with their stories. Rose’s first love was Jesus and along with her love of teaching children she enjoyed working in her yard on her flowers alongside her furry companion Sunny. She was an awesome cook and her sour dough breads were a favorite among many friends and family.

Surviving are her children Paula Ennis of Apopka, FL, Theodore Ted Harrison of Simpsonville, SC, Melissa (Bobby) Kirby, and Connie Lewis of Darlington. Her grandchildren: Austin (Rebecca) Kirby of Darlington, Tyler (Robin) Kirby of Aiken, and great granddaughter’s Katherine, Raven and Eleanor,Sister in law Donna Byrd, nephews, Vincent, Darren (Laura), Jennings (Jillian), great nieces Karoline and Kingsley. She also leaves behind her beloved beagle Ava.

She was preceded in death by her brother Richard Byrd, her son-in-law Dale Ennis of Florida. Memorials may be made in her honor to Darlington County Humane Society at 580 E. Joe Dennis, Jr.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joe Dennis, Jr., who left us on February 16, 2026, at the age of 74. Friends and family will gather to celebrate Joe's life and share memories at his viewing at Belk Funeral Home of Darlington on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 6:00 PM to 8:00PM. The funeral service will take place at Calvary Tabernacle Church on Bobo Newsom Hwy. on February 20, 2026, at 2:00 PM, followed by his burial at Grove Hill Cemetery.

Joe was born on April 18, 1951, to Joe Dennis, Sr. and Mildred Haggins Dennis in Darlington, South Carolina, where he spent his life surrounded by family and friends. He graduated from St. John’s High School in 1969. Then almost immediately he started working at Darlington Veneer Mill where he spent 48 years, until his retirement. Joe loved going to church and enjoyed singing there too. He was a real people person, always ready to help someone if he could and spending time with his friends. He leaves behind his brother Allen (Vivian) Dennis and a cherished uncle to his nephew, Timmy (Lisa) Davis, as well as his nieces, Samantha (Thomas) Howle-Rush and Kimberly Howle, Joe’s love for his family was a central part of his life, and he will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents’ Joe Dennis, Sr. and Mildred Dennis, as well as his sisters Gladys Dennis and Marie Howle. The family would like to express their gratitude to English Meadows Hartsville Campus, Carolina Bay staff and everyone for all the warmth and care that was showered on Joe the last three months of his life.

Joe Dennis, Jr. was a man of quiet strength and genuine kindness, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched. We're grateful for the time we had with him and will hold onto the memories forever.
