Our residents enjoyed a scenic ride to nearby Fairhaven, where they indulged in delicious donuts and pastries at the Donut Factory – We especially enjoyed the tiramisu and the Long John donut! It was a fantastic time bonding as a group as we enjoyed the last days of fall and the beautiful views of the Bay!

We had the joy of welcoming the amazing students from Friends Academy to Cedar Dell! Together with our residents, they crafted the cutest Scarecrow Globe Night Lights — a perfect blend of fall magic and creativity. Nothing warms our hearts more than watching generations come together to create something special. These glowing little scarecrows will light up our shelves, and our spirits! A big thank you to the Friends Academy students for bringing your energy, kindness, and crafty flair. We can’t wait for your next visit!

We were honored to host our Veterans Prime Rib Luncheon here at Cedar Dell, welcoming our brave Veterans and their families for a special celebration of service, sacrifice, and community. A huge thank you to Chaplain Mike from Bristol Hospice for offering a heartfelt blessing that reminded us of the depth of our gratitude, and to Matthew Brouillette, Veterans Service Officer for the Town of Dartmouth, for delivering an amazing speech that touched each of us – your words honored our Veterans beautifully. A special shout-out to Leanne, our Bristol Hospice Liaison, for all her help with the décor, set-up, serving, and clean-up – your kindness and hands-on support made the day even more meaningful.

Here at Cedar Dell, we believe our Veterans aren’t just honored on one day – you matter every day. Your dedication to our country, your courage, and the sacrifices you and your families have made are woven into the fabric of our community. This Veterans Day, we pinned each Veteran with pride, shared stories, laughter, and fellowship.
