We want to keep you informed about the recent measles outbreak affecting several states, including Texas, Kansas, and Ohio. Measles is a highly contagious virus that can cause serious health complications, especially in young children and unvaccinated individuals.

**Key Facts:**
- **Symptoms**: High fever, cough, runny nose, red eyes, and a characteristic red rash that usually starts on the face and spreads.
- **Transmission**: Measles spreads through respiratory droplets when an infected person coughs or sneezes. The virus can linger in the air for up to two hours.
- **Prevention**: The best way to protect yourself and your loved ones is through vaccination. The MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccine is safe and highly effective.

**MMR Vaccine Schedule:**
