My name is Kara, and I’m a licensed esthetician and the owner of Selah Skin Studio. “Selah” means to pause and rest—and that’s exactly what I want every client to feel when they sit in my chair.

Skincare has always been more than just products to me. It’s about confidence, healing, and helping you feel like the best version of yourself. Whether you’re struggling with acne, texture, or just need time to relax and reset, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

I’m also so excited to share that I will be joining Salon Suites in David City! I cannot wait to welcome you into my space and create a relaxing, results-driven experience for each and every client.

I’m certified in dermaplaning, chemical peels, and advanced facial treatments, and I am a Face Reality Acne Specialist—meaning I specialize in treating acne with a results-driven, customized approach. I will be working with professional, acne-safe brands like Face Reality and GlyMed+ to ensure you’re getting the best care possible.

At this time, I will be offering services such as customized facials, acne treatments, chemical peels, and dermaplaning. Microneedling will be added in the future as I continue to grow and expand my services.

I will officially begin taking clients in July, and I cannot wait to start this journey with you all!
