If you have Lipedema and or you’re dealing with estrogen dominance, this might surprise you…
It’s not always about cutting more food out.
Sometimes it’s about adding the right things in.
One of the most overlooked tools for women navigating Lipedema, heavy cycles, breast tenderness, mood swings, stubborn lower body inflammation…
✨ Fiber. ✨
Specifically the kind that supports your liver + gut in actually moving estrogen OUT of the body.
When estrogen is metabolized by the liver, it gets sent to the gut to be eliminated.
But if digestion is sluggish or fiber intake is low?
It can get reabsorbed back into circulation.
And that’s when symptoms stick around.
Enter one of my favourite simple additions:
🥕 Carrot Spiral Salad
Raw carrots are rich in unique fibers that can:
• Bind to excess estrogen in the gut
• Support regular elimination
• Feed beneficial gut bacteria
• Reduce inflammation load
• Support liver detox pathways
And when you pair them with a little healthy fat (like olive oil) and a splash of apple cider vinegar? You support bile flow — which is essential for hormone clearance.
Simple recipe:
• 1–2 raw carrots spiralized or shaved
• 1 tsp olive oil
• 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
• Pinch of sea salt
• Optional: pumpkin seeds or fresh herbs
That’s it.
Small habits. Big hormonal ripple effects.
This isn’t about perfection.
It’s about supporting your body in doing what it already knows how to do.
Your liver wants to clear excess hormones.
Your gut wants to eliminate them.
Sometimes it just needs the right support.
If you’ve been feeling heavy, inflamed, or hormonally “off” this might be a gentle place to start.
And as always, this is education, not medical advice. Talk with your provider if you’re navigating complex hormone conditions.
But don’t underestimate the power of simple, daily nourishment.
Regulation is built in the small things.
