I love volunteering at the animal shelter and helping increase adoptions. Having a pet has been shown to improve your health 👩🏼‍⚕️.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!

We are facing a SEVERE OVERCROWDING issue. Over the weekend, 12 dogs were brought into an already full shelter.
Today, only one dog has gone home, one dog was pulled by a rescue, and only one adoption so far.
Today, an additional 9 dogs were brought in.

WE CAN'T KEEP UP!!!

We have 21 dogs currently on stray hold.
We have 20 dogs currently available for adoption.
We have 15 dogs on other holds awaiting owners, court cases, and evaluations.
And we have one dog in foster care, waiting for a space to return and become available!

8 years ago I started my integrative medicine fellowship.
I never would have guessed at that time that I would end up with my own integrative practice and an online course for breast cancer survivors.
I'm so thankful I took a huge leap of faith and followed my heart. My professional life has forever been changed and enabled me to serve my patients and students in such a rewarding way.
