There has been so much excitement with our Halloween Parade, Veterans Ceremony, CNA Graduation, and decorating at Laurel View Village that we are now behind on posting our very deserving Employee of the Month! 😲

In October, we celebrated Jacob Shiley! 🎉✨
Jacob joined the Dining team in January 2025. He was nominated by several residents for being an outstanding employee. He is credited with always being so friendly and polite, and for always making sure that residents' menus are accurate. Great job, Jacob! 😁

In November, we celebrate Kyleigh Niessner! 🎊
Kyleigh joined our Personal Care team in June 2024. She is nominated for her amazing interactions with our residents. She has quickly earned the respect of her team due to her compassion for the individuals she provides care for. We are truly blessed to have Kyleigh as part of our Laurel View Village family. Congratulations, Kyleigh! 👏🏻

Today was a full and proud day at Laurel View Village — we honored our veterans with heartfelt ceremonies 🇺🇸🫡 and celebrated the graduation of our Vital Signs Academy Certified Nursing Aide trainees 🎓🩺. Congratulations to the new CNAs on your achievement 👏🌟 and thank you to all veterans for your service. We wish every graduate success and fulfillment as you begin this important work caring for others 💙🌷.

🌟Join our Parkinson's Support Groups!🌟

All are welcome to attend this informative group session!
On the last Tuesday of each month, the group meets to learn, support, and share. This group is open to all of those affected by Parkinson’s and aims to offer a constructive and pragmatic approach to coping with this condition.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about exercise techniques, relaxation methods, dietary guidelines, access available resources, and recognize that they are not alone on this journey.

🥊🥊We also have Parkinson's Support Group Boxing twice a month with Donnie! Join Donnie Roebuck each month on the Second & Fourth Thursday at 2PM for an opportunity to learn boxing techniques while receiving support for individuals with Parkinson's disease. $10 fee to be paid to Donnie at the door.
