We are forming classes for our CNA Training from March 2nd to April 7th, 2026. Attendance is required on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays during daylight hours for the entire duration of the course.

🎄 Laurel View Village Annual Christmas Appeal 🎄

As we celebrate the season of Christ’s love and generosity, we are reminded of the call to care for one another.

This Christmas, Laurel View Village is reaching out to our extended family and friends to help support residents who have outlived their financial resources. Your gift will help support our Resident Caring Fund Endowment to provide the same level of compassionate, quality care.

Scripture reminds us, “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:40) Through your generosity, you become a blessing in the lives of our residents and a living expression of faith in action.

If you feel called to give, no gift is too small, and every contribution is deeply appreciated. Together, we can share hope, compassion, and the true spirit of Christmas.

✨ Holiday Cheer at Laurel View Village! ✨🎶

We were delighted to welcome the talented Conemaugh Township Choir and Jazz band to Laurel View Village for a festive holiday performance! Their beautiful voices and joyful music filled our chapel with seasonal cheer and brought big smiles to our residents’ faces ❄⛄

Adding to the fun, our CEO, Tim Mock, joined the choir on their last song, bringing even more cheer to our residents. 🎅🏻🎄

Thank you to the students, directors, and everyone involved for sharing your talents and spreading holiday joy with our residents this holiday season! 🎄🎺🎤

This month, we celebrated December's Employee of the Month - Emily Smith!🥳🙌🏻

Emily joined our marketing team in October 2023. Emily was nominated for doing the extra little things to help residents, from fixing cell phones to visiting residents who have transferred across campus. She is always willing to give directions to visitors. She has been described as juggling multiple projects with grace and efficiency.

Congratulations Emily! 🎉🤩

📣Drumroll (and sprinkles) please — the winners of the 2025 Gingerbread Village Competition are in!

First, a quick note: Facebook votes were counted in their own gingerbread jar — completely separate from the in-person judging. So yes, we have multiple winners!

We’d also like to give credit to EVERYONE who built a structure , your creativity and effort made this event magical.

All winning creations will be on display for one more week in the lobby of the main building — come see the masterpieces before someone tries to taste-test the shingles.

Huge congratulations to all our winners and a massive THANK YOU to everyone who entered, voted, and cheered. You made this year’s competition sweet, creative, and slightly suspiciously fragrant.

See you next year — and may your icing always be the right consistency.

The holiday season is here, and so is the chance to make a real difference. The Angel Tree is underway, and there are still Health Care residents in our community hoping for a little Christmas magic.

By choosing an Angel, you’re not just giving a gift — you’re giving hope, joy, and the reminder that someone cares. 💛

🎁 How you can help:
• Pick an Angel from the tree (located in the main lobby)
• Choose gifts that total approximately $25 (no food or candy!)
• Return your gifts to the front desk by December 21.

It’s a simple act with a huge impact. Let’s come together and spread kindness this season. If you’re able, please consider participating and sharing this post to help reach even more hearts.
