Blue Umbrella Psychiatry

Blue Umbrella Psychiatry Blue Umbrella was formed to offer all mental health services under one roof. https://www.blueumbrellapsychiatry.com All of that is about to change.

If you are like many of our patients, you’ve been frustrated with previous psychiatric treatments and unable to find meaningful or lasting relief from symptoms that make life unpleasant. Dr. Eric Robbins founded Blue Umbrella after years of working in a fragmented and uncompassionate mental healthcare industry. He noted patients aligning with disconnected physicians and therapists leading to poor communication, mixed messaging and ineffective care. Blue Umbrella was formed to offer all mental health services under one roof with providers collaborating with each other and patients to care for the whole person. We promise to go beyond a diagnosis and work with you, providing you:

- Individual and supportive care you need and deserve
- Innovative services, based entirely on your needs
- Coordinated, evidence-based programs
- The help you need to move toward joy, peace and overall health and wellness

Mental Health Monday 🧠💙
A new week is a fresh opportunity to care for your mind with the same compassion you show others. Many of us carry the weight of perfection—high expectations, pressure to “get it right,” and frustration when we fall short. But perfection isn’t the goal, and it’s certainly not where healing begins.

This week, we invite you to practice self-compassion. Allow yourself to grow at a pace that feels right for you. Offer yourself patience, understanding, and gentleness. These small acts of kindness toward yourself can create space for emotional healing, resilience, and meaningful progress.

Every step forward matters—especially the small ones. Celebrate your effort. Honor your journey. And remember: you’re doing more than you realize, and you deserve kindness along the way. 💙

At Blue Umbrella Psychiatry, we discuss how meaningful relationships, community, and social support can strengthen emotional well-being and help you feel more connected this season.

🕊️ Veterans Day Reminder: Your Mental Health Matters 🕊️

Today, we pause to honor all who have served — for their bravery, their sacrifices, and the strength it takes to carry those experiences long after coming home.

For many veterans, the battles don’t end when service does. PTSD, anxiety, and depression can be invisible burdens — but reaching out for help is a powerful act of courage, not weakness. 💙

If you’re a veteran, or you love someone who is, take a moment today to check in. A kind word, a shared conversation, or connecting with professional support can make a real difference.

At Blue Umbrella Psychiatry, we stand with you — in gratitude, in compassion, and in the belief that no one who served should ever face their struggles alone. 🌿

📅 Mental Health Monday: Checklist Edition 🧠

Checking in with yourself is one of the most powerful ways to support your mental well-being. Taking a moment to pause, reflect, and notice how you’re feeling isn’t selfish—it’s essential.

At Blue Umbrella, we know that self-care and awareness go hand in hand. Small steps like acknowledging your emotions, celebrating wins, and connecting with someone you trust help you navigate stress and build resilience.

Your mental health matters every day—let’s make thriving, not just surviving, the goal. 💙

💙 Fun Fact Friday 💙

Life can get busy, and it’s easy to forget to pause and check in with ourselves — but small steps can make a big difference in how we feel day to day. 🌿

Here are 3 simple things you can do to boost your mental health:

1️⃣ Open up about your feelings to a close friend.
Sharing how you feel can help you process emotions, gain perspective, and remind you that you’re not alone. Sometimes, just saying things out loud can lift a little weight off your shoulders. 💬

2️⃣ Take the weekend off to do things you enjoy.
Whether it’s spending time with loved ones, exploring a hobby, or simply relaxing — make time to disconnect from social media, work, and emails. Your mind deserves a reset, and rest is a form of self-care. 🌞

3️⃣ Don’t be too hard on yourself.
We all have ups and downs — that’s part of being human. Try to show yourself the same kindness and compassion you’d offer a friend. Every small step forward counts, so celebrate your progress along the way. 💫

At Blue Umbrella Psychiatry, we believe that when you take care of your mind, everything else follows. Here’s to a peaceful, balanced weekend ahead! 💙

💙 November is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month 💙

At Blue Umbrella Psychiatry, we believe mental health is just as important for men as anyone else. Our founder and psychiatrist, Dr. Eric Robbins, emphasizes a holistic approach — offering psychiatry, therapy, and specialized treatments for depression and other mental health concerns.

Dr. Robbins also leads our “Real Men Talk” group, a safe space for men to share, connect, and support one another. Through therapy, psychiatry, and community support, we’re helping men take charge of their mental wellness — because strength includes asking for help.

💙 Mental Health Monday: Coping with the Time Change

We’ve officially fallen back! That extra hour of sleep can feel great, but the shift out of Daylight Saving Time can still affect your sleep, focus, and mood.

💤 What You Might Notice
• Sleep disruption: Even a one-hour change can throw off your rhythm.
• Mood shifts: Shorter days and earlier sunsets can impact mood or energy.
• Focus & safety: Fatigue can make it harder to concentrate or stay alert.

🌤️ Ways to Cope
• Get morning sunlight: It helps reset your internal clock.
• Keep a routine: Try to maintain consistent sleep and wake times.
• Move your body: Daytime activity supports mood and rest.
• Unplug before bed: Limit screens and caffeine at night.

💙 Give yourself grace this week — your body just needs time to adjust.

🌈 Fun Friday!
✨ Sometimes the best progress comes from pausing. Taking a break isn’t giving up — it’s giving yourself the space to breathe, reset, and return stronger.

🌿 Mistakes? They’re proof you’re trying, learning, and growing.

💪 Every small step forward — even after a stumble — is still progress. So rest when you need to, give yourself grace, and keep moving forward. 💫

Are you searching for effective options if you're battling treatment-resistant depression? 😔

At Blue Umbrella Psychiatry, led by Dr. Eric Robbins, we understand your struggles and offer hope through Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). It's a non-invasive, FDA-approved treatment that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate areas of the brain affected by depression. 🧠

TMS can be a game-changer if medications haven’t provided sufficient relief. Our board-certified psychiatrists will evaluate and tailor a TMS treatment plan to your specific needs.

We're here to support you every step of the way. Discover a path to renewed well-being. Visit our website to learn more about TMS.
