The Front Desk Receptionist is a well-rounded person with outstanding people skills who has experience in Client Support. A responsible, friendly and energetic individual who has a positive attitude and a passion to excel in the workplace. Someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced office with the ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks is a necessity. Our Front Desk Receptionist is a key link in our relationships with patients and must constantly strive to provide the highest level of patient care.
**Must be experienced working in a Doctor/Medical office**
Work days are - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday
Hours are:
Monday & Wednesday- 9:00-7:00
Tuesday- 3:00-7:00
Friday- 9:00-6:00
No weekend hours required
NEEDS to be reliable, detail-oriented, well organized, team player, coachable & friendly with a positive upbeat attitude
Bilingual preferred- English/Spanish
Computer literacy- EMR experience
Knowledge of Appointment Scheduling, Insurances, Verifications, Authorizations and basic medical terminology
Perform general office duties, such as answering phone calls, patient check-in, registration, scheduling and confirming appointments, filing charts, collecting fees for service/co-payments and assist in data entry
Arrive on time and stay until finished with current patients
Ensure patient information is updated, accurate and complete in EMR (electronic medical record)
Keep front reception area and exam rooms organized, clean and well stocked and empty trash
Answer multiple phone lines and screen incoming phone calls in a professional manner
Greet and check-in patients while providing quick and comfortable waiting experience
Monitor and review patient schedules for the next day office appointments
Manage and oversee the direction and flow of patients to ensure the daily schedule runs efficiently and on time
Enjoys patient interaction, genuinely cares for the well-being of our patients
Must be able to provide references for verification of previous related work experience
