The art of tongue and pulse diagnosis lies in listening beyond words.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, diagnosis is not rushed or reductionist. It is a practice of attunement, of slowing down enough to notice subtlety.

The tongue offers a visible map of the body’s inner world.
-Color revealing heat or cold
-Shape and texture reflecting nourishment and fluid balance
-Coating speaking to digestion and internal harmony

The pulse is more intimate still.
It carries the rhythm of your nervous system, the strength of your Qi and Blood, the imprint of stress, rest, and resilience over time.

Together, tongue and pulse create a conversation.
One that honors patterns rather than isolated symptoms.
One that recognizes the body as intelligent, adaptive, and always communicating.

This is the art of
Where presence becomes diagnostic and being truly seen becomes part of the healing itself.

Soften. Open. Receive.
We begin our acupuncture session with cupping as a preparation for the body’s receptivity to needles. It softens the tissues and anchors you into your breath.

Cupping gently lifts stagnation, invites circulation, and signals the nervous system that it’s safe to let go. As the breath deepens, the body opens.

Then the needles are placed with intention. What follows isn’t force, but listening. A quiet dialogue with your body’s own intelligence.

This is how we create space for healing to land.
Each needle inviting his own vibrational tune, each
point inviting a deeper connection within.

Shoulder pain or frozen shoulder in perimenopause or menopause? It may be hormonal.

Many women experience sudden shoulder pain, stiffness, or loss of range of motion during hormonal transition, often with no clear injury. This isn’t random.

As estrogen fluctuates and declines
• Inflammation increases
• Joint lubrication decreases
• Fascia, tendons and joint capsules stiffen

The shoulder is especially vulnerable, which is why frozen shoulder, also known as adhesive capsulitis, commonly appears in this phase of life.

Through the lens of Chinese medicine, this often reflects
• Liver blood no longer fully nourishing the tendons
• Qi and blood stagnation in the shoulder channels
• Kidney yin depletion during menopause

Hence the classical teaching, the Liver governs the sinews.
When the Liver is undernourished or constrained, the sinews lose elasticity, circulation slows, and pain and restriction arise, particularly in the shoulders, hips, and neck.

Pain with reaching, dressing, or sleeping on one side isn’t a failure of the body. It’s a message.

Support looks like:
࿊ Gentle, consistent movement
࿊ Acupuncture to move qi and nourish blood
࿊ Heat, infrared and circulation support
࿊ Anti inflammatory, hormone aware care

You don’t have to wait it out.
With early, aligned support, frozen shoulder can soften and resolve more efficiently.

Your body isn’t breaking.
It’s asking for a new relationship with care.

Your skin is a mirror of what’s happening within. 🪞

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the face is a map of the internal organs. Acne or skin irritation is not random, it reflects internal imbalances showing up through the skin.

Forehead (Heart + Small Intestine)
Often linked to stress, poor sleep, and mental overactivity.
Support: prioritize rest, reduce stimulants, calm the nervous system.

Between the brows (Liver)
Often linked to tension, frustration, and hormonal stress.
Support: gentle movement, emotional release, smooth Qi flow.

Cheeks (Lungs)
Often linked to inflammation, sensitivity, or emotional holding.
Support: hydration, breath awareness, anti-inflammatory care.

Jawline + lower cheeks (Kidneys + hormones)
Often linked to cyclical breakouts, hormonal shifts, and chronic stress.
Support: deep nourishment, rest, mineral and hormone support.

Chin + mouth area (Stomach + Spleen)
Often linked to digestion issues, blood sugar imbalance, and dampness.
Support: warm, cooked foods and digestive support.

In TCM, acne, rashes, and eczema is a sign of heat, stagnation, or dampness asking for balance, not suppression.
When digestion, hormones, emotional flow, and the nervous system are supported, the skin responds.
Clear skin begins within.

Let’s go, girls! ♡
Our next weave wisdom club
is one you don’t want to miss.

Pleasure as Power | 2.16.26 | 6:00pm
New Moon in Aquarius · Expansion

This gathering is an invitation to reframe pleasure not as indulgence or reward, but as information.
A compass. A vital life force.

Created for women at every hormonal threshold, this evening explores how pleasure becomes a source of clarity, resilience, and personal power when it is honored rather than suppressed. Under the New Moon in Aquarius, we gather in the energetics of expansion through authenticity, liberation, and embodied truth.

Through guided reflection, ritual, and somatic practice, we gently unwind the conditioning that has taught us to silence desire or postpone joy. Together, we create space to listen to the body’s wisdom, noticing where pleasure lives, where it is blocked, and what it is asking for now.

Embodied practices may include grounded breathwork and nervous system settling, gentle somatic movement to awaken sensation and presence, pelvic and heart centered awareness to reconnect with desire and creative energy, reflective journaling aligned with the New Moon, and ritual intention setting that supports expansion without guilt or burnout.

This is a space to soften, to feel, and to remember that pleasure is not something to earn. It is something to allow.

Come as you are. Leave more connected to your body, your desires, and your inner knowing.

Space is intentionally limited.
Reserve your spot and join us in circle as we weave pleasure back into power.

As the body’s largest organ, the skin absorbs more than we often realize, making skincare choices deeply important.

Endocrine disruptors are chemicals that interfere with the body’s hormone system. Hormones regulate metabolism, mood, fertility, skin health, and sleep. When hormonal signaling is disrupted, even in small repeated doses, the effects can accumulate over time.

Many conventional skincare products contain ingredients that can mimic, block, or confuse hormonal communication.

Common endocrine disrupting ingredients found in skincare include:
1. Parabens
Used as preservatives, parabens can mimic estrogen and have been linked to hormone imbalance and reproductive concerns.

2. Phthalates
Often hidden under the word fragrance, phthalates are associated with thyroid disruption and fertility issues.

3. Synthetic fragrance
This single term can represent hundreds of undisclosed chemicals, many known to disrupt hormones and irritate the skin.

4. Triclosan
An antibacterial agent linked to thyroid disruption and altered hormone signaling.

5. Chemical sunscreens such as oxybenzone and octinoxate
These can pe*****te the skin and interfere with estrogen, androgen, and thyroid hormones.

6. Formaldehyde releasing preservatives
Used to prevent bacterial growth, these compounds are associated with hormone disruption and long term toxicity.

Over time, consistent exposure may contribute to hormone imbalance, inflammation, skin sensitivity, , premature aging, fatigue, and added stress on the liver.

We believe should support the body, not burden it. That’s why we exclusively use made with organic, whole plant ingredients and free from endocrine disrupting chemicals.

For us, skincare is more than cosmetic. It is an extension of self care, hormone health, and conscious living.
Small actionable steps like changing one product at a time can relinquish overwhelm and start your journey to more mindful products with better ingredients.

Perimenopause is a powerful threshold, one where the body asks for deeper listening, not pushing through. As hormones shift, the way we care for ourselves matters even more.

Signs may include changing cycles, disrupted sleep, hot flashes, mood shifts, brain fog, fatigue, weight or skin changes, and increased sensitivity to stress. These are not failures of the body, but signals of transition.

During this time, our day-to-day choices become gateways to either vitality or exhaustion. Nutrition, self-care, rest, and sleep are no longer optional; they are foundational to sustainability. Nurturing the body becomes paramount.

Supporting natural regulation means calming the nervous system and honoring new rhythms. and herbal medicine help regulate hormones and restore balance. Gentle, consistent movement supports circulation and emotional flow. Intentional becomes a ritual of repair and regulation as the skin responds to hormonal change. matters too. Being seen, sharing experiences, and gathering in safe spaces is a powerful way to connect and honor this changing season.

When met with intention, invites us into deeper self-care, where nourishment, rest, and presence become the medicine.
