To all my ophthalmologist, optometrist, eyecare providers fighting daily to preserve vision and end global blindness…preventable blindness…this should outrage us all.

My heart goes out to all Persians who are tirelessly watching the revolution unfold. It’s debilitating to live overseas as an Iranian immigrant going about our day, treating eyes to prevent blindness, and seeing brutal regimes blinding people purposefully.
