Meet the Clinician ✨

Therapy with Melanie is not about judgment, pressure, or expecting you to have everything figured out.

It’s about creating a space where you can show up honestly, explore what’s been coming up for you, and move forward in ways that feel supportive and meaningful.

You’re allowed to take things at your own pace. 🤍

Confidence isn’t built in one big moment.
It grows quietly, in the days you show up, try again, and keep moving forward even when things feel uncertain.

Small steps taken consistently can create meaningful change over time.

Save this reminder for the days progress feels slow. 🤍

Confidence and self-trust don’t usually appear overnight.
They grow through understanding yourself, noticing patterns, and practicing new ways of responding to the world around you.

Therapy offers space to explore what’s been shaping your decisions, boundaries, and inner dialogue, while building skills that help you trust your voice more over time.

Small shifts can create meaningful change.

Which slide resonates most? 🤍

Meet the Clinician Monday ✨

A belief Brianna holds about healing:
You are more than what you’ve been through.

Life experiences can shape how we see ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us, but they do not define your worth or your capacity for growth. Healing often begins when we’re given the space to explore those experiences with compassion, curiosity, and support.

You deserve care, connection, and the opportunity to move forward in ways that feel safe and empowering. 🤍

Save this to revisit.

As a small, locally owned practice, every session at CMC is intentionally reserved with care.

Our clinicians dedicate time, preparation, and emotional presence to each appointment. Policies like late cancellation and no-show guidelines exist to protect that time, support the sustainability of our team, and ensure we can continue offering thoughtful care to the community we serve.

We know life happens, and we always approach situations with understanding. Your communication and partnership truly help us continue doing the work we care deeply about.

Thank you for supporting a small business rooted in connection and care. 🤍

We can be our own harshest critics.

The same compassion we offer to friends, family, and the people we care about is often the compassion we forget to give ourselves.

A small reminder from our team:
you deserve the same patience, kindness, and understanding that you so easily give to others. 🤍

✨Why Therapy Wednesday ✨

We’re often taught to control our emotions, to push them down, ignore them, or move past them quickly.

But emotions aren’t problems to solve.
They’re signals.

When we slow down enough to understand what our emotions are trying to tell us, we can respond with more awareness instead of reacting from pressure or overwhelm. Over time, that awareness is what helps build real emotional regulation.

Therapy creates space to explore those signals with curiosity and support, helping you better understand yourself and how you move through the world.

We’re often quick to notice what we didn’t finish or what didn’t go as planned, but growth also lives in the small things we did do.

Maybe you showed up when it felt hard.
Maybe you rested when you needed it.
Maybe you tried again.

Take a moment to acknowledge one thing from this week that deserves credit. 🤍

Progress in therapy isn’t about doing things perfectly or intensely.
It’s about showing up, again and again, in small, meaningful ways.

Safety builds over time.
Insight develops through repetition.
And sustainable change happens when growth feels manageable, not forced.

Consistency may feel slow, but it’s often what creates the most lasting shifts.

Takeover Tuesday with Day ☀️

One of the questions I get a lot is how to know if a therapist is the “right” fit.

The truth is,it’s less about finding the perfect therapist on paper and more about finding someone you feel safe with, understood by, and comfortable opening up to.

Ask questions.
Stay open.
Notice how you feel.
And give the process a little time.

The therapeutic relationship is one of the biggest predictors of progress, and sometimes the right therapist might surprise you. ✨

If you’re in the process of looking, I hope this helps. 🤍

✨Meet the Clinician Monday ✨

A small tool Melanie loves sharing with clients: the physiological sigh.
Two inhales through your nose, followed by one slow, long exhale through your mouth.

It’s a simple practice, but powerful, helping signal safety to the nervous system, release built-up tension, and create a moment of pause when emotions feel overwhelming. Tools like this can support self-awareness, resilience, and confidence over time, especially when practiced consistently.

Sometimes regulation starts with one breath. 🤍

Save this to revisit when you need it.
