🔑 Saying “no” to doubt, but yes to the work.

👟 I’m wiring my life through the “No’s” — showing up when it’s heavy, when it stings, when the promise falls through and the door slams shut. I’ve been overlooked, undercounted, and overwhelmed… and still, I lace up.

Not because it’s easy, but because my purpose refuses to be quiet. 👏🏾

I keep choosing me. I keep choosing the passion in others. I keep choosing the next small step. If all you have today is a whisper of strength, that’s enough. We move anyway.🏃🏾‍♀️

🫶🏾 A decendant of this beautiful country. With both of my parents born there. We stand in solidarity and prayer with our brothers and sisters in the Caribbean as Hurricane Melissa approaches. Jamaica 🇯🇲 the beautiful island that holds a special place in our hearts.

Melissa is expected to be impacted on Tuesday, followed by Cuba and the Bahamas later in the day. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone in the path of the storm.

🌟 Part 7: Building Safe Spaces, One City at a Time🌟

This week, I want to share my love for Fort Lauderdale—a city that has been my home for over 20 years and the foundation of my professional journey. It’s a place where I’ve grown both personally and professionally, and where my passion for serving the community has flourished.

When the pandemic hit, I knew I had to pivot quickly to keep my business prepared to serve the community during such a challenging time. It wasn’t just about adapting to the crisis—it was about staying connected, providing support, and ensuring that therapy remained accessible when people needed it most. That strategy was no small feat, but it was a necessary step to continue the mission I hold so close to my heart.

Opening my second practice in Atlanta marked an incredible milestone, but it didn’t come without its own unique set of challenges. Expanding into a new city meant stepping out of my comfort zone and reimagining how I could replicate the safe, supportive environment I had built in Fort Lauderdale.

Creating a space where therapists feel supported and empowered has always been one of my dreams. I know what it’s like to be a therapist in search of a safe place to practice, and I wanted to be part of the solution. Building these spaces is my way of giving back—to my clients, my community, and to the professionals who are working tirelessly to help others heal.

Fort Lauderdale will always have a special place in my heart, but the journey of growth and service continues. Here’s to creating safe places and spreading healing, one city at a time. 💚✨

“Empowering mental health and families through counseling” has always been my heartbeat—and now I’m bringing that mission to even more communities across Florida, Georgia, and the Caribbean. 🌍💙

“I strive to create a safe space for individuals to be heard, to heal, and to grow.” With this expansion, that safe space just got bigger. 🙌

From anxiety, grief, and trauma to affair recovery, communication, and pre-marital counseling, I’m honored to keep showing up with evidence-based care—certified in trauma therapy, Gottman Method, and grief counseling—so we can “rebuild relationships and regain control of mental health” together. 🕊️
