Hello Friends!

As many of you know, for the last 3 years I have co-hosted a podcast with my dear colleagues, Bronwen M Logan and Carrie Varela called Reiki Women Podcasts . For those who have been listening along, thank you so much for being a part of our community! For those who are just hearing about it, we would love to have you along for the ride. Reiki Women Podcast exists because of YOU—your listening, your presence, and your willingness to explore the system of Reiki together.

It is because of this continued engagement that we are able to look into 2026 excited to strengthen and grow this work and community! And to do that, we need to strengthen the structures that help us produce this podcast and related offerings.

The Reiki Women Podcast has been a labor of love for our team, with thousands of unpaid hours dedicated to filming, editing, and sharing meaningful conversations with our listeners.

So we’re launching a crowdfunding campaign to support the continued growth of the podcast and the creation of future conversations dedicated to centering women's voices, sharing insights from the Japanese origins of Reiki and empowering Reiki practitioners around the globe!

Your support of this campaign will allow us to:

• Hire an editor for the podcast, to free up the many hours Bronwen dedicates each month to editing and publishing the pod;

• Cover the cost of our editing software and other production costs;

• And keep this offering accessible and sustainable by allowing us to dedicate additional time for us to create new offerings in 2026.

A central purpose for Reiki Women Podcast is to uplift women’s voices, perspectives and leadership within the Reiki community. As advocates for women, we need to be firm about the importance of women being compensated for our labor, freeing us up to reciprocate even more value back into this community.

Drawing practices from the system of Reiki, this class is for those who are pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, who seek pathways of empowerment, connection and embodiment inside of your pregnancy, birthing and parenting journey. It is also for birth workers and support folks who want to deepen their birth support toolkit.

In this class you will:

~ Learn three foundational practices of the system of Reiki from it’s Japanese origins, with the emphasis on the use of Reiki during pregnancy, birth and to support your growing child. We will apply these practices in several ways that specifically support you to:

~ Help form a deep energetic connection with the baby, for profound early bonding between unborn baby and family;

~ Bring deep relaxation into the core of your being, to ease pain and discomfort during pregnancy, delivery and postpartum, and help adjust to the ever-changing nature of pregnancy;

~ Prepare the body and spirit for the birthing process for both baby and family;

*Birthing partners and birthworkers will learn practices for sharing Reiki with the birthing parent, baby and themselves throughout the birthing process.

Birthworkers will leave with practices you can teach your clients to support them in the ways described above.

LIVE TONGLEN PRACTICE THIS WEDNESDAY!

Good Morning! I lead a monthly Tonglen practice (description below) via FB Live in my FB group, Living Reiki: Sacred Practice for a Changing World . It is coming up this Wednesday, and we'd love to have you join us!

This practice helps us to increase awareness of our heart connection with each other, and builds our capacity to be with those who are suffering in the world. It also helps guide our attention and therefore actions in the direction of responding to suffering with compassion, and taking action where we can.

Tomorrow, in the group I'll post a space for members to suggest where we focus the practice--this can be for groups of people who are suffering (such as immigrant communities currently targeted by ICE, the people of Gaza, families grieving after a mass shooting, leaders struggling under pressure to conform to inhumane policy decisions, etc), or specific people in the world or your community.

So if you'd like to join us, request to join the group, then Wednesday morning grab a cup of tea with heart-supporting herbs like rose, cinnamon, rosehips, motherwort or hawthorn, and jump into the group with me!
