In the spirit of connecting with others who value authenticity and appreciate heart-centered interactions that go below the surface, last month I launched a new monthly gathering here in Davis called The Village Heart, and I’m excited to share that our first event was a beautiful success! One participant shared at the end of the evening, "I’ve never experienced anything like this — I’ll remember this for the rest of my life." It reaffirmed for me how important it is to have a space where we can just be ourselves and connect with others on a deeper level.
With all the hardship and chaos that is going on in the world right now, having a safe space to be real and share openly is deeply healing. Building healthy relationships and a strong community are what will carry us through in the face of hurricanes, fires, floods, illness, war and heartbreak. At the end of the day, or the end of a life, it is our relationships that matter more than anything.
Whether you’re looking to meet new people, improve your interpersonal skills, or simply want a space to feel seen and heard, this gathering is for you.
I truly believe authentic connection is the medicine for these times.
We meet once a month, and each gathering features a different guest co-facilitator, bringing new and unique gifts to the experience. Our next event is tomorrow evening (Thursday, October 10th) from 7-9:30 pm, and I would be honored to have you join us if this resonates with you.
