Celebrate Recovery this Tuesday:

Lesson 1: Denial
Denial keeps us trapped in our hurts, habits, and hang-ups by convincing us that nothing is wrong—or that we can handle it on our own. In this lesson, we learn that healing can only begin when we honestly acknowledge there is a problem that needs fixing. When we stop minimizing, blaming, or hiding, and instead step into truth, we open the door for God to begin His healing work in our lives. Admitting our need is not weakness—it’s the first step toward freedom and recovery.

Today we celebrate one year of Celebrate Recovery here at Davison FM Church!

Over the past year, God has been faithful as lives have been changed, chains have been broken, and hope has been restored. We’ve walked together through hurts, habits, and hang-ups, learning to lean on God, support one another, and live out the principles of recovery.

Thank you to everyone who has shown up, shared their stories, served faithfully, and taken courageous steps toward healing. We give all the glory to God for what He has done this past year—and we look forward with hope and gratitude to what He will continue to do.

To hear a powerful testimony about Renee and Halley, a mother and daughter, will share their journey of healing from a cycle of family dysfunction. Through struggles with abandonment, abuse, fear, and low self-esteem, they found themselves battling alcohol, drugs, codependency, and sexual addiction. Come hear how God met them in the middle of their pain and began a powerful work of restoration.
