🌟 Team Spotlight: Meet Sandy Owens! 🌟

We’re so excited to highlight Sandy Owen, our wonderful Volunteer Coordinator at Caritas Hospice, who joined our team in August!

Sandy brings over 15 years of experience in senior living, along with her deep passion for person-centered care. As a Certified Eden Educator, Dementia Certified Specialist, and Licensed Assisted Living Administrator (CALA), Sandy has dedicated her career to helping seniors live their best lives with dignity and joy.

When she’s not coordinating volunteers or sharing her expertise, you can find Sandy spending time with her family — including her identical twin daughters, who also work in senior living — or at her “happy place,” Twin Oaks Equestrian Center in Milton, where she loves caring for horses. 🐴💙

We’re so grateful to have Sandy’s heart, compassion, and experience on the Caritas team! 💛

🍽️ We had such a great time hosting a Lunch and Learn with Northside Gwinnett!
It was our honor to give back to their amazing case managers with good food, smiles, and meaningful conversation. 💙

Caritas Hospice is hosting a food drive as we approach Thanksgiving. The Dawsonville office -north will provide the Dawson/Lumpkin food bank with collected items.
Office drop off locations are on flyer. Additional Dawsonville drop location at Magnolia Senior Living - Dawsonville.
Thanks for your help in supporting our community through this holiday season.💖

We’re excited to host a food drive throughout the month of November to support local community food pantries!

You can help by donating non-perishable items such as canned proteins, fruits, pastas, peanut butter, and more.
