Our Story

Established in 2003, Spec-takular Boutique’s vision was to create a cutting edge optometry office fused with a stylish boutique. Our newest collaboration, formed in 2019, is a full service MedSpa, offering both esthetics and medical spa services. This fusion of our passions bears our new name, Spec-takular Boutique and MedSpa.

Working as an optometrist in a big chain store left owner Dr. Suzanne Kimmons-Doty feeling uninspired and unfulfilled. Believing that optometry didn't have to be just exams and plain-jane frames, Suzanne opened Spec-takular Boutique - a destination for those searching for advanced eye care, an expansive selection of unique and beautiful frames, clear and tinted contact lenses, plus a curated mix of beautiful accessories. No white lab coats, no wait time, and no magazines here! Just superior, personalized customer service. From the moment you walk in the door, you will feel like you are visiting friends. And you can rest assured that your eyeglasses will be your personal signature, as our experienced opticians dispense each unique frame only once!

Our newest vision is our MedSpa, combining the latest technologies in both skin care and eyecare health. Spec-takular MedSpa offers a battery of non-surgical, cosmetic procedures that are personalized to each client to help in achieving individual beauty goals. With our signature facials, microdermabrasion, microneedling, IPLs and so much more, we’ve got your skin care needs covered. Plus, for your eyes only, we offer a clean, full service lash and brow bar that includes lash extensions and microblading!
