Asking for help isn’t a burden—it’s a bridge. 🎗️
When you're navigating a cancer diagnosis, "doing it all" shouldn't be the goal. Letting others in actually gives them a meaningful way to support you.
Try these 3 tips to make it easier:
Start Small: Ask for something simple, like picking up a gallon of milk.
Be Specific: Swap "I'm overwhelmed" for "Can you walk the dog Thursday at 6?"
Use a "Help List": Keep a running note of tasks so you’re ready when someone asks, "What can I do?"
Asking for help is a form of strength, not a sign of weakness.
