🐾 Honoring Pets in the New Year

💜 The Weight of Winter Grief
The months after the holidays can make grief feel heavier: the quiet moments, the cold days, the absence of familiar gatherings.
If your heart feels tender this winter, please know that what you're feeling is real, valid, and deeply understood.

🕯️ Finding Light in Winter
Winter often invites stillness: a quiet space where grief and memory can feel especially tender. Yet even in the coldest season, small moments of light find their way in. A warm cup of tea, a gentle memory, a soft sunrise.
May you feel those moments of light this month.

Rick Snider, President and Brenda Snider, Vice-President, are third generation owners of Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home and Crematory. Brenda's late grandfather, W. Eugene Baker, was the founder of the business in 1941 and her father, Neil W. Hazel, joined the firm in 1960, owning and operating the business until 2003. Rick joined the firm in 1982 after graduating from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. As well as owning and operating the business, while serving those in need, Rick and Brenda are active in their church, and volunteer for several civic and school related activities. They, along with their staff, endeavor to make a difference in the lives of those they serve.
In 2001 Mr. Snider decided to open a human crematory and later in 2007 we opened a Pet Crematory. Now we can serve the whole family.
