Let's go over another sales tactic: using social proof for psychological comfort

Like OF COURSE you're going to say good things about your own brand. You need money lol You can still build trust that way tho bc if it makes sense like people will see that.

Direct recommendations from someone you know...

THAT inspires trust.

Like okay I get that you think you're the best but 12 people cosigning you ???? Aight you might have something worth me checking out then.

People love to see results. They love proof. They love seeing transformation.

The thing is... you have to make sure you have quality product readily available for the right audience at the right times to make sure you're getting the social proof you need. So this tactic definitely isn't for everyone.

Also, suggestion: Before you take a screenshot of a text and post it, ask them if they mind first. Some people would rather give you an official review online instead.

First sales tactic is one of my faves: Scarcity (the honest way)

Scarcity works because people HATE missing out.

The thing tho is that the scarcity has to be real. If you only have 5 spots left out to 20... say that ! But don't tell people you only have 5 slots left to spark urgency when you really have 100 spots left lmao

Because if people ever find out you've been lying it'll backfire and ruin everything.

It doesn't matter whether you do or don't have a niche. It's the strategy behind it that matters and how well you can implement it.

Finding a niche helps you to go deeeepppp with your audience. It's a great idea to choose one if you have a specific topic you're uniquely passionate about or if you're super curious about a thing and want to learn along with your audience.

If you're someone like me tho... you have HELLA interests and things you're passionate about and sooo many things you're curious about So trying to pick just one or two topics is hell. And no matter what you choose, if you can choose, your'e gonna change your mind lmao

It okay to just go ahead and post about all the things you're interested in to because the common denominator is YOU. You're the brand !

Say all the important stuff first bc once they get bored, it’s too late 🫠

I’m talking about the visual hierarchy of your website.

A majority of the people who visit your website won’t click through every page and they won’t scroll all the way to the bottom. So whatever you think will most convince them to stick with you needs to be at the very top of the page.

As they scroll, include hooks that inspire them to keep scrolling and click on other pages.

If your goal is to make sales, a way for people to book or pay DEFINITELY should be within the first scroll of the landing page. The more complicated it is to pay you, the less people will choose to pay you.

Your audience is the hero. Your brand is the guide. Simple.

If your content is centered on how talented, busy and creative you are... you're missing the point. That's not what people care about.

Shift the narrative to their struggle, their growth and their transformation and talk about how you can help get them where they're trying to go.

People don’t just hire experts.
They hire guides who understand their journey.

YOUR CONTENT SHOULD REFLECT THE LEVEL YOU WANT TO BE PAID AT !

If your content looks rushed, inconsistent or it's unlcear... people are gonna assume that your offer is the exact same way. And who want to pay for something like that ?

Take your time and make sure your'e saying what you need to say clearly, in a way that's easy to read. Be thoughtful and intentional with every single thing you post.

Your feed should serve as a preview of what people can expect when they book an experience or shop with you !

IDEALLY your reviews and testimonials will sell the outcome and not just praise you.

“Working with her was amazing!” doesn’t convert fr. Because why was it amazing ??? Spill the tea so I can make an accurate judgement !

The best testimonials say things like:

✨ “I doubled my bookings.”
✨ “My confidence increased.”
✨ “My audience finally understands what I do.”
✨ "I'm able to stay home more without losing money."

THAT is inspiring ! If I want my bookings doubled too it helps me know who to go to now !

The thing is tho... you can't really too much control what people decide to say about you or how they felt about your service. Still, it can help to send follow up surveys to your clients and customers asking specific questions that would make a good testimonial !

If you're attracting the "wrong" clients, check your messaging babes.

Low-budget and difficult clients don't just magically appear. They respond to subtle signals in your branding.

Are you always posting some type of discount ?
Are you afraid to directly ask for a sale ?
Are you unclear about the problem you're solving ?

These things make it easier for you to be a magnet for people on a tight budget, often with high demands.

It's not that different from your personal reputation really.

Your brand attracts what it signals just like you attract what you are on a personal level.
